Just blocks from historic Beale Street, FedEx Forum, National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis in May activities, amazing restaurants & great views of the Mississippi River. You’ll love the LOCATION, the building history, exposed brick, the new high-end appliances including washer/dryer, no stairs (first floor access), gated off-street parking, building security & smart home technology.
The space
You not only have the benefit of being located in the heart of Memphis within walking distance of nearly anything you might want to see downtown, but the space is completely upgraded with top-of-the-line appliances & state-of-the-art smart home technology. It's a perfect confluence of historical elegance with modern convenience.
Guest access
You have exclusive use of the entire condo, including bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and the washer/dryer.

You also have have a dedicated parking space in the gated parking lot adjacent to the building.
Other things to note
This is a one-bedroom condo with a queen bed, but I also provide a self-inflating queen-size Aerobed complete with sheets & blankets that you can use to easily accommodate a total of four people.

We had a wonderful time. I surprised my husband for his 40th bday. Jr even had a bday surprise for him. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Condo was cute and very clean. It was super easy to get in and very safe. It was walking distance to Beale street. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I wanted to experience Memphis and J.R.’s condo and his recommendations on his website were perfect! The condo is walkable to the key spots in downtown and safe! We easily walked to Beale Street, National Civil Rights Museum, The Peabody, Ernestine & Hazel’s, Blues Hall of Fame, the river parkway, and everywhere in between including great restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also had easy drives to Sun Studio, the Dixon Art Museum and Gardens (an impressive art collection of the masters), and Mason Temple (site of MLK, Jr’s “Mountaintop” speech). The condo is extremely well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. And J.R. wants you to enjoy Memphis and is professional and knowledgeable in his communications with you! Thank you, J.R., for a great stay in Memphis!

Perfect Bday Getaway

This condo was perfect for a 3 day Bday getaway for my hubby and I. The host J.R.& Stephanie are great. They went above and beyond to accommodate me with many allergy issues! I was very grateful! Very responsive and the hospitality they offer is “TOP NOTCH” This condo has everything you could possibly need on a little getaway! They truly thought of everything to make a stay seem much like home. They left a lil bday surprise for my hubby! Super clean!! Close to everything! Pet friendly! Charming Condo

Great, convenient location. Property was well-maintained, clean, and very well stocked with added amenities. First floor made it very convenient and easily accessible. Gated parking and secure entrances were a plus. Check-in and check-out was easy and property manager was quick to respond. Beautiful condo!

Relaxation Haven

Being in walking distance to The National Civil Rights Museum, Orpheum Theater, Old Dominick's Distillery, Beale St., and the Mississippi River to watch the sunrise makes this spot a sanctuary for respite. This was an exceptionally therapeutic residence with rich history in a safe and convenient location. Both J.R. and his assistant provide outstanding communication ensuring a pleasant stay. I thought my trip to Memphis was a one and done, but I plan to return and truly hope this relaxation haven is available.

Why stay in a hotel?

Look no further if you want a super clean, well stocked condo that’s close enough to walk to Beale St. and downtown. We went around the corner to the best Gus’ fried chicken, met nice people at the Tinder Box cigar store, enjoyed coffee and pastries nearby, walked to Southpoint grocery and thoroughly enjoyed coming “home” to this snug little place. I love the brick walls and industrial lighting! The bed was comfortable. We will stay here again when in Memphis!

As Advertised and More!

Lovely little condo with everything a couple needs to vacay in the south. Best equipped kitchen I have ever seen on Vrbo! I mentioned our trip was to celebrate our anniversary and JR left us a bottle of wine and a very sweet note. Our first time in Memphis, but we cannot imagine a better location. The neighborhood looks a little industrial on Streetview, but my sweetie and I strolled around quite safely. It's just a short walk from the start of Beale Street and there are two Diners, Drive-ins and Dives restaurants on South Main within a block of the condo: SOB (South of Beale) and Good Fortune. We also recommend the Green Beetle, also within a block, for an excellent lunch. South Main has multiple eateries and is clearly being developed. Condo security is first rate: the parking is gated; access to the building is coded, as is access to the condo. JR will request a pin from you to set the condo lock, so it's an easy number to remember and you know it's secure. Strongly recommend and will be going back ourselves as we have not yet managed to check off all the Triple-D places in Memphis on our list!

Great place, excellent and safe location!

The condo is just a few blocks away from Beale Street and is gated/code controlled. The place was very clean and had every amenity you could need including more bottled water than most stores 😉. Amazing apartment!! Very clean! Comfortable bed and pillows!! TV in living-room and bedroom. The apartment is well stocked with coffee pods, water, paper towels, toilet paper,detergent's,fabric softeners, ziplock bags,Saran wrap ect!! Washer and Dryer is very clean. It is walking distance to great restaurants,Beale street, the trolley. The owner is fantastic. We Will definitely be back!!! Best VRBO we have ever stayed in!!

Great location in walking distance to Beale Street

This was our second but not last stay as we are already planning on a return trip. We love the location with secured parking. We enjoyed Beale street, a haunted bus tour and Wicked at the Orpheum all of which we walked to. Can’t say enough about this place.

Beautiful unit near everything

From the moment we booked, the host communicated all the info we needed and checked in again right before our trip. Upon arrival, it was very easy to check in due to his very clear directions. Once we walked in, it was very evident that this unit is taken great care of. It was very clean, well stocked with anything you could imagine you would need, and decorated very nicely! While we were there, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. On check out day, the host communicated a very short and reasonable check out process and wished us safe travels. When we travel to Memphis again, we will definitely book this unit and stay longer! It is like a home away from home!
