Honey Bee Cottage is a two bedroom one bath private home located in the Ouachita Mountain. It is conveniently located in the town of Mena but has relaxing wooded privacy. This cottage is newly constructed with charm and all the new convivences we require today.
The living room has a large inch smart tv sign in to your own streaming service. Cozy up to the electric fireplace that can be used in all four seasons with optional heat feature.

This two bedroom one bathroom cottage sleeps up to six with the inflatable bed. Both bedrooms feature smart 32 inch tvs and charging stations. The large bathroom features a walk in shower.
Honey Bee has a fully equipped kitchen with range, dishwasher refrigerator and microwave. for your convenience we have a Keurig coffee maker and a starter supply of coffee. Plenty of cabinet space is left for you to be able to put your groceries away.
We have also made our washer and dryer available for your use should you need it.

We have a covered front porch and a covered side porch, enjoy sitting outside even if its raining. The side yard has a covered sitting area and a firepit with four Adirondack chairs. Enjoy the complete privacy of our side and backyard area.
We provide starter supplies of coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and basic soap!
Located on a paved street, we have a gravel driveway with a concrete parking pad. Trailer parking with easy turn around, room for several. Three blocks to Wal-Mart. Pet fees are per pet.
No contact keyless entry.

For you safety, security cameras are in use in the front yard area. No cameras are inside the cottage.
*** $12 extra guest fee per person after 4 guests.
*** Two night minimum stay.
*** Discount available for week long and month long stays.
*** Pets considered on an individual basis with a pet fee.
No Smoking or vaping of any kind inside the cottage. No leaving cigarette butts anywhere on the property.


We are located in town but have plenty of space for your trailer to park and turn around.

Just Perfect!

Was just what we needed, a nice place to stay in town. The decor is very well done & modern. Well stocked, even bodywash, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. The location is perfect, so quiet, serene but blocks from town. We even had a deer and a rabbit in the yard while we were here! Highly recommend if you need a home away from home in Mena for a few days!

Nice having the covered outdoor patio right off the kitchen, and the weather was such that we could enjoy dining and barbecuing outside. Location is private. The property served as an excellent base for exploring the Mena area.

Perfect little house

Honey Bee is the cutest house. Perfect size and plenty of space for us and the in-laws. Every detail has been thought of, even S'mores! Anything and everything we needed was there. It is adorable and we felt like we were in a little house out of town, but it is in town and close to everything. So quiet and peaceful and we even saw deer too! I do wish there was a love seat instead of the two chairs in the living room. Our movie night was not very comfortable with 4 adults. The men in our group said the beds were uncomfortable but I slept great. Perfect location and always a quick reply from the host. But honestly, we didn't have any reason to reach out during our stay. We just let her know when we arruved. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you! It made my my birthday weekend even more perfect!

Cozy Stay

I really enjoyed staying here. When I arrived it was easy to let myself in. The lamps had been turned on so that I could see when I came in. The a/c was running and set at a comfortable setting so when I arrived it was not too cold or too hot. When you open the door you see that it is very clean and smells clean. I was there to move my daughter into college and it was only 2 mins away. Great location so close to the town. You have the feel of being in the woods but you are not far from anything. I had my little dog with me and she loved the place as much as I did. Had everything we needed. The space was perfect. It is very quiet and cozy. Plenty of room for parking. Nice yard for your dog to walk around and run. The host is very quick to respond and very pleasant. I will be returning and staying again.

Cute, clean and owner made sure every detail covered. Nothing we wish the house had that wasn’t there. I saw older post on train noise. Having stayed in several VBROs in the area while my son was in college in Mena, this house was by far the quietest!

Enjoyable Stay; Recommended

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and in perfect condition. Quality appliances and cookware. Short distance to Wal-Mart for supplies. Very comfy and cozy little getaway. Downsides were a local train that likes to blow its horn throughout the night. Didn't bother us much, but if you're a really light sleeper, you might want to bring a fan or some other "noise" to turn on during sleep. The other minor inconvenience is that the heat and A/C are centralized to living area. If you prefer to sleep with bedroom door closed, it's going to get cold or hot in there. Neither of these took away from our enjoyment of the property. I was looking for a quiet place to study and work on online college coursework. The internet was sufficient for me to remain logged onto my college website, use our phones, and stream TV via our YouTube TV account without any lagging or connectivity issues. Owner was responsive to the message I sent within a couple hours. We had no problems at all. We will book again if the need arises.
