“We absolutely LOVE the Agate Cove Inn. Susan welcomed us and quickly showed us to our room. She suggested several places to eat and reminded us that daily baked cookies were in the coffee/tea area. Our three-day stay also provided us with an amazing breakfast! The breakfast staff people are friendly, welcoming and talented chefs. We have been frequent visitors to Mendocino since the mid ‘90’s. It is the perfect place for us to unwind and recharge. We have never stayed in Agate Cove Inn before,...

“Best customer service we’ve ever experienced. The place is absolutely charming, and the freshly baked cookies are such a sweet touch. It truly feels like home. Plus, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the Skunk Train, and everything is conveniently close by. ”

“The inn is in a quiet location overlooking the Pacific. We stayed in the John Barry room on the top floor and we had a nice view over the ocean and the surrounding area. The WI-FI was good. There is complimentary afternoon coffee/tea and cookies as well as sherry and candies, and breakfast is served at your room. It was very cozy to sit in the room eating while enjoying the views. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full for a long time. ”

“We stayed in Room 14 which is a cute little cottage. Overall we loved our stay. Some things that stood out were the amazing staff. All so kind and patient. We especially enjoyed booking a room with a hot tub, maybe next time we’ll do a room with the sauna!”
