  • White Oak Cottage is a remodeled 1940s home in downtown Mentone. It is non-smoking, pet-free, and a short walk to local shops & restaurants and minutes from DeSoto Falls. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom features a king bed & sitting area; the second bedroom has a queen, and the living room offers a pullout couch. Relax on the front porch swing; soak in the freshly cleaned hot tub; or gather around the fire pit. Hiking, waterfalls, golf, and horseback riding are all nearby.

Such a lovely space, super convenient to shops and restaurants! A little slice of small town heaven, perfect for couples or a small family. Literally took my wife’s breath away when we stepped in the door, with her in awe of how cute and nicely kept it was.

We had an excellent stay! Beautiful home with everything you need. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use and very private. Lots of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Hope to return soon!

Loved this cottage! It has everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice clean hot tub, very nicely decorated, and close to everything we wanted to do. We were here for a few days celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had a relaxing time and went to the shops in Mentone, and Fort Payne. We ate at the Mad Hatter ( good breakfast, great ambience) and the Mentone Market. The host was great communicating info. We really enjoyed this trip and our stay here at this adorable cottage.

Much needed getaway

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to all the places we wanted to see. Just the right size for two people with everything you needed inside.

The host went over and above for us! This is the third or fourth time we’ve stayed here and we just love it. The cottage feels snug and safe and warm. It has everything we need and even things we didn’t know we needed
