Welcome to Our Treehouse! Our property has two custom designed Treehouses built on sizeable, wooded acreage, overlooking a large, majestic lake. This listing is for the BLUE Treehouse, situated on the RIGHT as you enter the drive of the property. Please read the description of this Treehouse carefully before booking. Message us with any questions!
A long ramp leads you up to the entrance of the treehouse. The view from the rocking chairs on the front porch are to die for, while enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. When entering the front door, to the left is the kitchenette area. This kitchenette includes a Keurig, with coffee pods for your first morning, as well as a microwave and electric skillet to cook some of your food. A smaller fridge allows you to keep your drinks cold and any other food items needed for your stay.
To the right of the kitchenette is a small seating area to enjoy your company, watch some TV, or to read a book. To the back right of the main level has a Queen size bed in a studio setting. The bathroom is to the left of the sleeping area. This bathroom has a shower and basic soaps available for your use.
When more than 2 people stay, you will find a loft area directly above, with two twin size beds. This is a true loft, with a pullout ladder to climb up.
The stay in this Treehouse is low maintenance and high quality for guests needing to unplug and relax.

We just had the best weekend staying in the blue treehouse!! The view from the front porch is beautiful. We were impressed with the cleanliness and privacy. Although we had neighbors it was still like we were all alone. The treehouse is a short distance from restaurants and local state parks!! We will definitely be back!!!

Great for a short getaway
The cabin was just right for a mom/child getaway. We visited Mentone, which was a little longer drive from the cabin than we realized, but it was only about 25 min. We enjoyed all the cabin and the area had to offer. The lake view was a bonus!

The treehouse was just as described and was perfect for our overnight stay in the Little River Canyon area. Very close to the park. The house overlooks a beautiful lake, very serene and quiet. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were easy to get in touch with and very accommodating to our early check in request.

weekend getaway
the cabin is very nice. cozy and comfy. however check to make sure if someone has the other cabin rented. they are only about 40ft apart. We were looking for privacy for the weekend. it was good Friday night but we had neighbors Saturday evening. They were great People but now everyone can hear the others conversations while on the back porches. other than that the place was very nice.

The place was perfect
The place was exactly what was advertised!!! We loved every bit of the trip and it was so worth the money for the solitude and country charm. I will say the kitchen area is super tiny and there is no stove so you should definitely plan on packing light with the food or plan on eating out BUT it more then makes up for it being water front and super clean, quiet, and accommodating.

Not for 80 year old folks
First, we entered our email address incorrectly. dot com instead of dot net. Sounds like nothing, but we had no email communications, even after hours on the phone trying to correct it with VRBO/owner We read the property info but did not really "read it" Our fault There was no way to cook (maybe a fry pan would be nice) There is no food within 20 miles, unless you go to Fort Payne. The Cafe is as good as it gets, and it closes at 6. There's a lake, but nothing to do on it We enjoyed drinking coffee while looking at the lake each morning. Unfortunately that ended after 2 cups each. Where to get more? Fort Payne I guess Has nothing to do with our stay, but that "ladder" to the upper bedroom is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No safety provisions whatever From first hand experience, the tree that the builder tried to "cut around" will be cut down within a few years. It will get bigger!
