“Difficulties in finding room as all seem to be external chalet like, with black room numbers on a black doors. Bed ok and Bathroom good though. ”

“Obehagligt varmt på rummet trots tre fläktar. Ingen städning. Inte tillräckligt mycket personal. Restaurangen och baren översållad med ölhävande män så det var svårt att bli serverad. Bra säng men alldeles för höga hårda kuddar. Härligt med badkar, gym och pool. Den personal som fanns var väldigt trevliga men de är inte tillräckligt många så de kämpar i uppförsbacke. Vacker natur. Undvik frukosten! Åk ner till Wickham ’old Tea room’ istället. ”

“Fantastiskt litet hotell med nya fräscha rum i gammal miljö. En riktigt genuin engelsk pub som förutom god öl serverade en god och varierande frukost. Ligger i en mindre by med en fantastisk omgivning.”

“Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. ”

“It is a lovely place, the staff is amazing. Very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was delicious! But, the room is very cold, only kne radiator for multiple rooms, old windows letting in all the cold. Worst was that there were no heating or power outlets in the bathroom. Super cold! And a very big spider lived there... I ate dinner one evening at the mansion, it was not worth the money. Minute steak and some fries for 20 pounds. Took 5 seconds to eat. No taste. ”

“Parking is 3 or 4 spaces. When available Room needed a clean. Floor had not been hoovered widnow and mirror both smeared Kettle was disgusting with the contents full of mould and smelling awful The shower needs repair around the plug hole and water pressure is poor Had to use the communal shower elsewhere in the building ”

“Upon arrival, I was initially assigned an occupied room. The place was unstaffed, and the provided phone number was unreachable. I had to ask other guests for an alternative number. I called, texted, and left a WhatsApp message on that number, but received no response for at least an hour.When I finally received a text message with details for a new room, I found the bed was broken and the room was freezing cold. A staff member told me he would come to fix the issue but ultimately never showed...

“Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here.”
