âOur room was clean, comfortable and had some character with a lake view balcony and gas fireplace. The only thing that was wrong was that the tv did not work correctly. It went in and out. If you were watching a show, youâd get about 2 sentences, and then it would go dark for about 5 seconds, and then back on. We didnât report it at the time but we did leave a note. The only other complaint is that there was not good direction about things like where and what time breakfast was served or where...

âGrand View Resort was much better than we expected. I had already read reviews that the place was clean (very important for my family), but it exceeded expectations with the room being so well kept and the beds were comfortable. We also loved the location which was close to everything including Weirs Beach, Meredith and other areas. âNice little motel. Convenient location. Very clean. Snacks & GREAT coffee in the office! Nothing fancy, but very helpful staff when we had an issue. We also left a charger behind, and they notified us within hours and are mailing it to us! We'd definitely stay again if in the area.â
