Beautiful house, I wish I could have stayed longer. Bed was very comfortable and the Mountain View was a great touch. Lives all of the cute decor. Will definitely be back. The Welsh cakes were tasty too.

Fantastic property and excellent communication with the owners. Stayed in the studio and the fact you have the whole of the 2nd floor to ourselves we didn’t mind so much that the kitchen and bathroom where a few steps across the hall. Left us a little gift of Welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. Had emails with recommendations on places to go, drink and eat which I think was a great touch. Would stay at this property again and would also look in to the other properties they have.

The hosts were lovely people who provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area re restaurants, tourist attractions,walking trails etc. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, cooking facilities, plenty of room plus parking. The location was quiet and convenient with easy access to the town centre. Would highly recommend this property.

I was not aware that this property is self catering. Yes bathroom did not have a window or extractor. Other than that all great.

Lovely homely room. Good location.
Lovely welcoming hotel. Very friendly owners. Room was small but comfortable. Would have been nice to have had a breakfast option. Excellent location for the Brecon Mountain railway. Beautiful dinner in the town in restaurant recommended by hotel. Also not too far to visit Cardiff.

Wonderful place to stay
It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Everything was immaculate and welcoming including the owners. I had a lovely stay, had home baked Welsh cakes on arrival and I was even given some wrapped up in the morning to take with me; such a nice and thoughtful touch. I'll definitely return again soon, thank you for your lovely hospitality

A Great little place to stay
Highly recommend I stayed at St James place on a business trip but will definitely return with my wife. The room was spacious beautifully decorated and very comfortable

Nice Guesthouse
Lovely guest house, with great service, close to town with a lovely view. Room a little oddly decorated and TV not brilliant but would stay again.

Great updated place
Great old house with lots of character that has been updated to a very high standard. Comfortable room and tastefully decorated and furnished. Only minor gripes were my bathroom and kitchen were across the hall, not a deal breaker but would prefer to stay with all combined. Wi-fi was inconsistent and ended up using my phone to connect. These are only minor things and wouldn't put me off from staying here again.

Absolute gem of a place!
I'm blown away! This guest house is beautiful, so charming yet so modern. Lee is so welcoming and helpful and the homemade Welsh cakes are to die for! I couldn't believe it when I saw my favourite products in the bathroom, I think I may just move in!! I will definitely be back, even if I'm working in a different area of Wales. I stay away from home a lot with work so frequent a lot of hotels, staying here was like being at home.
