“It was awesome, the Hotel is full of classic charm, so clean you can eat on the floor, super comfortable bed and room, the Hotel is next door to the Pascagoula Police Hq, law enforcement personnel entering and exit the PD at all times day and night, Talking about a secure place to stay! And Mrs. Evelyn (a member of the staff) was one of the most helpful and friendly person I have ever encountered during my travels! “Mycket mysigt och trevligt BnB som sköts av en trevlig dam. Huset har kvar sin charm från tidigt 1900-tal och rummen är stora med högt i tak. Barbee, ägaren, lagar själv en mycket bra frukost på morgonen. Att en av oss var glutenintolerant var inget som helst problem! Parkering finns inne på gården så det är inget problem.”

We had expected a stay at a historic plantation and, yes, the old building (where the owner lives and not the guests) is very beautiful and the park surrounding it marvellous but artificial with its Japanese and Monet inspired parts and more like a well-kept "Disney-park". The 21 rooms are situated by itself in bungalows in the far corner of the premises and you have to order golf-carts to get to breakfast (which is in the opposite corner of the garden) or...

Beautiful room, nice pool, excellent breakfast, excellent idea to be able to use the pool at Opal Key Resort. Really recommend this if you want a perfect and calm vacation in a Key West!
