I thought this was a very nice place to stay. I have seen many reviews with complaints regarding the area, noise, etc. However, I cannot fault the property based on location. It is in Miami and it’s near an airport, but I knew this when I chose the area. It was very clean, the washer and dryer was a great convenience for my family as we took a trip to the beach and had to get ready for our upcoming cruise in the morning. Being able to wash and dry all of our wet clothes was a major plus. Despite the airport being nearby, we all slept very good and there was no disturbances for us. While there the internet had an outage but the property manager was quick to communicate this with me by reaching to me before I even brought it to her attention. I highly recommend and would choose the rental again!!

This listing is completely inaccurate and I’m floored that it has a 4.5 stars. I booked this place for two nights and upon arriving in the neighborhood I knew we had to find a new place to stay immediately! The neighborhood was filthy, unsafe and loud. Low flying airplanes going overhead 24/7, roosters in the yard that wake you up at 3am, bars on all the windows… the list goes on. We made it through the first night with no sleep and booked a hotel for the second night. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

Unpleasant surprise
Neighborhood was very shady ,roosters and chicken everywhere,the property was a duplex, the ice maker or water didn't work on the property, the unit had to be fixed because it had a loud nose and there was a mouse in the house , the owner agreed to refund a day and never did , the bed was broken,really cheap furniture

Great stay!
We stayed here the day before our cruise. It’s a great location if you just need a place to stay over night, or in-between traveling. There isn’t much space, but it is perfect for a party of 5 adults. Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again.

Very pleasant!
This was an amazing property to stay at for a great price! in a prime location! We had NO issues with the cleanliness of the house or the area. If you know Miami you know what to expect. In walking distance from all the action, we walked back and fourth from the rental to Wynwood Art District with no problems. Our first night we walked around the corner and stumbled across some of the most authentic and delicious Indian Cuisine we have ever had in Florida! We anticipate to rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone!

Concert Weekend!

Super clean 2 bedroom with everything we needed.
We were staying here for a couple days after a week long cruise and really needed to wash some clothes. I was happy that Kaya’s place has conditioner, shampoo, body wash and even laundry detergent, even though I bought my own tide thinking no one would provide laundry detergent, but boy was I wrong. The place was very clean and looks exact as pictured. It was very close to Miami boardwalk. We felt safe and the AC was cool. I would stay here again. I was able to text Kaya when I needed anything and she responded right away. Awesome place and host.

Be aware!
Upon arrival of property we were a bit leery of the neighborhood, but were hopeful when we got inside and everything "appeared" clean and functional. Sadly the first two issues arose quickly. Minor, but annoying. No coffee pot as stated by host in amenities listing. And the washer/dryer are literally outside behind home in back alley. No soaps, counters, baskets, etc. It is not a laundry room. Merely appliances sitting out back. We made do. The nightmare began while family gathered in living room space for games. A few cockroaches showed themselves. We all pitched in and cleared the room to vacuum and wipe everything down. Made sure all our food was covered and placed in fridge. Tried to again settle in and make the best of it. We then noticed a couple more crawling in and out of electrical devices from behind the TV stand. Again, got out rags and vacuum. Had enough being grossed out and all went to bed. During the night son-in-law got up to get a drink. More roaches traveling from under refrigerator to kitchen trash can and back. Not the fun relaxing last night of vacation we had hopes for. Also mentioning, both double bed mattresses old and very uncomfortable. I spoke with host to warn of the bug issue after checking out. No apology or restitution offered at all. We took pictures and vids. Awful.

Cute, clean, and spacious
Located just a quick walk to the "hub" of the arts district, this property was very cute, exceptionally clean, and had lots of room for multiple guests. My family of 3 were very cozy here. The host was timely and precise in communication. Excellent VRBO. We highly recommend it!

Firstly The area was sketchy. Secondly the constant planes flying overhead was horrible. Felt like I could direct planes to airport. Thirdly, the neighborhood party in the street from 2AM to 430AM was disturbing and the roosters were constant from 3AM on.

Overnight Stay
We just needed a place to stay overnight before our cruise. We had a late flight and communicated that with the owner. They were very clear on how to get to the property and it was super easy to get access. They were even considerate enough to leave the front porch light on as well as lamp so we were fumbling in the dark. The property was also very clean. We’d definitely consider again.

Nice house for a short stay!
The owner was great with communication and even adjusted our stay to get in early when Delta changed our flight time. This was a perfect little house for staying the night before the cruise - close enough to walk to Wynwood Walls and lots of restaurants (although you may want to Uber back if it's after dark, the area is a little rough). The property was clean and well secured, I felt very safe there. My only suggestion is if staying there, bring ear plugs - there are quite a few roosters loose in the area and you are directly in the flight path for Miami, so there is lots of plane noise.

The property was in an area I'd call a ghetto. We felt incredibly unsafe. There were bars on the window. We arrived after dark and were too scared to go out for dinner. We thought we would order in but there was no internet and after 2-3 phone calls with the property manager the issue wasn't resolved. In fact we didn't hear back from her until after we left the following day. She has so far refused to provide us with any kind of refund, despite us staying only 1 night of a 10 night stay. I DO NOT recommend staying here.

Our stay during art week
This is a very clean. safe area to stay if you are planning to be here during art week. The house is under an airport flight line that can create a lot of noise if you are a light sleeper.There are not many usable choices for TV-However the shower is one of the best things about the house its fantastic.
