Beautiful home, nice service

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sisters vacay to see indiana dunes and just hang out. Home is beautiful, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Had trouble with Internet but they sent out service multiple times to fix. Communication was very good and pleasant even though we didn't get it fixed while there. Received a partial refund which we greatly appreciated. Would stay again.

Third Coast Visit

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Michigan property! The house itself was really nice and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.Being so close to the beach meant we could easily walk over whenever we wanted to enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Overall, this property hit all the marks for what we were looking for in a lake vacation rental. The combination of a quality house and an ideal location made for a memorable trip.

Before booking, I messaged the host to confirm whether an early check-in would be possible since we were traveling with young children. They indicated that if there was no guest staying the night before, an early check-in could be accommodated. However, after booking, early check-in was ultimately denied despite there being no guest the previous night.Additionally, although we signed the rental agreement the day before arrival, the host did not send the check-in information on time. We didn't receive the entry code until about 1.5 hours after the stated check-in time, which made for a stressful start to our stay. That said, once we were able to get into the property, our stay was great. In terms of cleanliness, the furniture was a bit grimy and musty. The home was spacious and conveniently located. It worked very well for our family and had plenty of room for everyone. Overall, the property itself was excellent.

Overall, our stay went well. However, when we arrived, there was no WiFi available. I had to call the management company twice the evening we arrived to find out that we would have no WiFi for the entire stay because the owner was waiting on a new router. None of this was disclosed prior to our arrival (though I’m not sure the company was aware prior to our calling either). The cell signal was not great, so it made it challenging to plan our outings or get any work done on the trip. It made for a surprise unplugged vacation, when we were trying to keep the routine for our kids, but we made it work. We were grateful for some games and puzzles that were available. Other than the WiFi, the cabin was very pleasant. It kept us cool in a big heat wave, had plenty of space. There were not many cooking supplies (oil and spices were not available) but there were plenty of dishes and everything worked well. The lack of WiFi made the trip more challenging than we expected. Once that is fixed, it would be a very enjoyable place to stay.

House was well appointed and a great shared space for our ladies weekend. Only gave 4 stars because the beds were not comfortable and it was very dark in there (lighting-wise). But the screened in porch was a beautiful space to sit together and enjoy the outdoors and the floor plan of the home worked great for our group.

This was a great house for a small family weekend! The open floor plan was great and the screened in porch offered more areas to relax. The rooms were great although the bunk room with futon can be a little tight. There was plenty of parking and outdoor space. The area was quiet. It was about a mile walk to Pier 37 for beach access so not the most convenient but still accessible. The host was great and very responsive to any questions we had. We would stay again!

Wonderful Home for Our Fall Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of the Cozy Cabin Getaway, in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood close to a playground, beaches, apple orchards, plenty of ice cream shops, and mini golf. The house itself was clean and cozy. It was a little too chilly for us to fully take advantage of the amazing outdoor spaces, but the kids loved the bunkbeds and had plenty of space to play games and do puzzles. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for cooking together and sharing family meals. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful home and convenient

Did not expect home to be in a neighborhood and outside could use a bit of sprucing up. Bedrooms a bit crowded but living areas quite spacious. Could use a blow dryer. Saw many deer right in the yard. Overall stay was quite satisfying.

Girl's Weekend

This house provided us with a wonderful weekend. The location was ideal for taking long walks & was conveniently located to a winery & the Botanical Garden. The house was clean & adequately equipped. That being said, it was a bit hodge-podge & not necessarily high end, but everything worked & we had a great time. We took advantage of the ping pong table & darts too!

Sibling weekend

My sibs and I (and spouses) get together once a year to reconnect and have some laughs. Really enjoyed this woodsy spot, though there were so many light switches and many of the lights were sterile-white instead of warm and cozy. But really appreciated the cleanliness, and all the windows and amenities. Thanks!

Fun getaway with friends

Great space, comfortable beds, excellent indoor/outdoor seating and comfort. We spent a lot of time sitting around the tables playing games and the lighting was the only challenge. Probably nothing they can do about it but if you need more light, come prepared!

Beautiful and comfy

We very much enjoyed out stay at your beautiful house!! Very comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for friends to reunite! The only issues we had were with the thermostat and the tv remote. Both of which were minor and may have been operator error. Oh, and there were discrepancies between the check out instructions on the fridge and the email sent the day prior to leaving. Thank you and we hope to get to come stay at your home again.

THE BEST WEEKEND GETAWAY

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures did not do this location justice. It was much more beautiful in person inside and outside. It was my wife 50th birthday due to the pandemic wanted to treat her to an escape from the four walls as she has been working from home since March. Her and I stayed there Friday and two other couples came on Saturday. We all were very happy at how extremely clean and sanitized everything was.Thank you to the owners for sharing something so beautiful. Hopefully we will be able to come back one day.
