“Thanks a lot to Callum in the bar who made it possible for us 9 people to enjoy a Nice Dinner without reservations, in the restaurant. Extra kudos to Steve who showed the kids around the upcoming breakfast tables and was ever so nice. The reception manager needs education in how to greet newcomers, but apart from that, everything was great, But oh, the swimming pool access was not possible. It is located in the next block across the street and the people there refused to let us in, claiming...

“Fantastic grounds and hotel. Staff are really friendly and receptionist was really helpful. Only thing missing would be the option to get a fan for your room - as the weather was warm and no breeze, so having a window open did little for air circulation. That said we will definitely be returning!”

“The spa, the outdoor pool and the fine dining restaurant were all great. They gave us boots and jackets for our walk, which was great. The informal restaurant was not that great. I paid £18 for a worse than average burger. Also, there were not many cosy places to sit around with a drink or coffee. There was only one room, which could easily get crowded. Luckily, we were there on a Monday in March, so this time it wasn't but I think the occupancy was only about 25-30%.”

“We had a lovely weekend in Tewkesbury. The hotel was excellent and well located. Joan was the perfect host and breakfast was excellent. ”

“A lovely welcoming and friendly hotel. Reception was excellent and the hotel set it beautiful grounds with abundant wildlife wandering around the onsite golf course. The spa facilities and gym were well up to date and not crowded on our visit. The breakfast was outstanding and we ate in the bar lounge in the evening with a more than adequate menu. All in all a very chilled and relaxing stay. ”
