“Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.”
“The hotel was dated and run down. The room had marks all over wall and had a strong odour of damp. There were limited staff and the older lady at breakfast was really rude and huffed and puffed. The cups were disgusting all stained. Breakfast items kept running out.”
“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms.
They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay.
Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep.
We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊”
“The staff are really lovely and helpful. The lady at the reception was very kind to me and helped me when there was an issue with the booking as Expedia had not sent the booking through properly and she still managed to find me a room. Second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again ❤️”
“The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location. ”
