“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“The hotel might be a bit remote and not particularly close to any specific tourist attraction, but the quality of the hotel makes a visit just for the accomodation itself worth while. It's a perfect retreat with beautiful rooms and it's situated in the middle of a wonderful, serene scenery. After staying here one night, for us the hotel itself has become an attraction to revisit.”
