“It was great to check into a warm room with the heating on. Dinner & breakfast were delicious. No wifi or phone service in our accommodation, except for in the main building. Location beautiful. Cabin looking old & tired but was clean.”
“A very pleasant overnight stay. Very well equipped, you could cook if you wanted but we headed down to the pub which was excellent value.Everything you needed was in the accomodation, would highly recommend.”
“The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. This stay was a good over night stop over for me and my partner.
We unfortunately were woken up at 6:30am to power tools and work being done on the room next door to us. The noise was quite ear blistering and we quickly checked out of our room as most of the motel was having work done that we were not made aware of”
“I had a car during this trip and it's my assumption that's pretty standard for people traveling to Tazmania so I don't know how the locatoin would be if you were relying on public transport, but it was pretty great otherwise. There was a really nice walk to the Woolworths and it seemed a short drive to the river front (unfortunately didn't have a chance to find out). Property was nice and they had a small kids room attached to the restaurant. Nothing to go out of your way to see or anything,...
“An ordinary Motel, nothing special about it. I got a good night sleep. The building is old and it wouldn't hurt with a renovation.
The bar area was nice, the beer went down in front of the open fire. ”
“Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park.”
