“Overall good property, nice and fresh cabins. I personally didn’t enjoy the mattress and didn’t sleep the first night at all, but I’m fussy. Otherwise, the hotel is quite good, considering the remote location in the national park. The spa complex and services are good. The territory is beautiful, lots of nice walks, wildlife everywhere - that is certainly a great part to the overall experience. ”

“Our chalet was cosy and warm. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The entire space was spotless with plenty of room. It was a lovely place to spend a couple of days. The food in the restaurant was very nice, well presented but a little on the expensive side. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and nothing was too much. The resort is very well placed to get to the Information centre to catch the shuttle bus to Cradle Mountain. We would definitely stay...

“The opportunity to stay in this heritage listed property is amazing. Karen and Steve have done such an incredible job of providing such a comfortable and friendly stay. The room was just perfect, from the furnishings to the little extras like the bottle of Port in each room. A lot of thought has been put in to the decor and everywhere you look you will find something that catches your eye. They also offered to drive us to and pick us up from dinner in Queenstown so we didn't have to worry about...

“We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. The king beds could use an upgrade ie. make them a king, not two singles joined in the middle. But the cabins are warm, light filled and surrounded by the rainforest.
