Två nätter i centrala Milano
Vi avslutade vår Italienresa med två nätter i Milano innan hemfärd till Sverige. Hotellet ligger exakt mitt i gamla delen av Milano mitt i centrum. Ligger ändå lite avskilt på en mindre trafikerad gata så lugnt o skönt på nätterna o dagarna runt hotellet men kort bit därifrån ligger Duomo torget o gallerian med alla Italienska modehus. Hotellet bjuder på gratis softdrinks o vatten på rummet varje dag samt ett glas vin eller Prosecco med enklare tilltugg i baren varje kväll vilket är uppskattat. Rummen är fina o tysta med skön säng. Nära till tågstationen Milano Cadorna (15 min gångväg) där du kan ta Malpensa Express (37 min till MXP) till en av flygplatserna (Malpensa). Linate flygplats ligger också nära men taxi krävs dit. Strax söder om hotellet ligger många barer, cafeer o restauranger i det hippa området Ticinese o Carrobbio med både billiga o normala prisnivåer. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta centrala o prisvärda hotell.

En nöjd kund
Incheckningen gick väldigt smidig, mycket trevliga och behjälpliga personal, bra rum, tilltugg till kaffet samt vattnet vid entrén samt kaffekokaren i rummet. Dessutom ligger hotellet väldigt centralt.

Very nice hotel.
Very nice hotel, great location, a couple of minutes walk to the dome, and subway. Fine breakfast buffé (small italian hotels are not known for great breakfasts :) ) We had a room with terrace and it was wery nice to be able to sit there and relax. Friendly and helpfull staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Återvänder gärna
Ett jättetrevligt litet hotell med gångavstånd till Duomen. Rent rum och liten trevlig balkong mot en oas av gröna växter. Bra frukost som innehåller det mesta.

Superb position in town within easy reach of Duomo and other sights. Fantastic staff one of whom , Serena, helped me get my hand baggage back that I had foolishly left in the cab from the airport. Lovely breakfast and overall a great stay. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. We liked the added extras like free soft drinks in the minibar. Very central location but on a quiet street too.

It was a terrific location close to Piazza Duomo and.Via Dante. Lovely traditional Italian feel about it. Great staff who were everhelpful. We will definitely stay there when we are next in Milan.

O hotel é uma graça, bem perto do Duomo e numa ruazinha pouco movimentada, ou seja nao tem barulho. As instalações não sao de luxo, porém o hotel ganha no quesito café da manhã que é delicioso e nada simples. Além disso, todo dia tem um welcome drink de cortesia para cada hospede e o frigobar é um presente deles também com águas Pellegrino, coca cola. Eles repõem todos os dias e não há cobrança adicional. Recomendo muito esse hotel pois apesar de nao ser luxuoso, o serviço dele e a localização sao perfeitos.

Returned to this hotel, just prior to our departure from Europe. It is in a wonderful location very close to the Duomo and several other museums, etc. there is a grocery store about two minutes walk away and cafés and pizza places in very close proximity. The front desk is very helpful and can arrange for a taxi or private car in the city and to and from the airport. Had a larger room this time which faced the street ( different from our prior room, which faced inner courtyard. The only trade-off was that the bigger room had a very nice patio, more sunlight, as it had windows, facing the street and a side street. But it was noisy. There was distinct traffic sounds even though it is on a side street. The interior room facing the interior Courtyard was very quiet. The hotel also has a free drink upon arrival and a very nice bar area and gathering place for gas. Also a nice breakfast spread and a sunny and welcoming breakfast room. A very comfortable and safe , moderately priced hotel in close proximity to city sites.

Excellent service and comfortable rooms. Front desk staff: efficient check-in and check-out, and helpful with directions. The room was comfortable and fairly spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast - it was amazing with eggs, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, juices, pastries, and more. Complimentary water in the lobby and mini fridge, and a welcome glass of wine upon check-in. Great location near many historical sites.

Gracious and elegant hotel in the financial district, within walking distance of many major sights as well as shops and eateries. Staff were courteous and very helpful. I arrived 2 hours before check-in and asked if my luggage could be stored, but after a short wait during which I was served a delicious macchiato, I was told my room was ready! I was only in Milan overnight, and that saved valuable time. The room was lovely and well-presented, and the bathroom was modern. Good desk space and comfortable bed. Hope to stay again in future!

From the time we arrived until our departure, our stay at Gran Duca di York was perfect! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was AMAZING and the location is within easy walking distance of everything you want to see/do/consume. I would stay there again and have recommended it to family and friends.
