**There is an inflatable queen mattress on a stand if needed for extra sleeping.

DOGS PERMITTED? Yes, dogs are considered at this property. All dogs must first meet our Pet Guidelines to be considered. Two large, metal crates are provided at the house for your use. J2

View Point Cottage is a hidden gem. Downeast Maine is known for its unparalleled coastline, wildlife, and stunning views. View Point Cottage is located just 10 minutes from downtown Milbridge which is a quintessential coastal Maine town with a variety of dining and shopping. Prepare to escape and enjoy the sounds of seagulls, lapping waves, and unlimited beachcombing. The View Point Cottage is perfect for launching kayaks or paddle boards into Narraguagus Bay.

As you enter the house, you are welcomed by a well-stocked kitchen, as well as, a dining and seating area with views of the water. Continuing through the kitchen, passed the washer and dryer, to the back room of the house, there is an additional den area with a dining table, Large screen Smart TV, sitting area, a twin bed, and couch. A full-sized bathroom with a tub/shower combination is located just off the kitchen, as well as, a bedroom with two twin beds. On the second floor, there is a half bathroom, as well as, a bedroom with a full sized bed. There is a large queen bedroom with an additional twin bed facing the water with a private balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views. The well-appointed glass slated balcony allows undisrupted ocean views while ensuring safety is a priority. 

The grassy yard is great for games or letting your four-legged furry friend roam the property. From the house, through a small well maintained trail, there is private access to a fantastic beach for lounging, swimming, fishing, beachcombing and picnics. There's also a rocky area in front of the house for exploring natures greatest discoveries. 

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which boasts stunning views from Cadillac Mountain, are just an hour and 10 minute drive from the property - perfect for day trips while staying away from the crowds and traffic. Bar Harbor has summer events including whale watching, guided island tours, great restaurants, parades, fireworks and shopping.
