“They were going through renovations so i understand some dust etc. When we got in the room we noticed blood spots on the chair and just covered with a towel. Don't walk on floors without shoes. We went to dinner. We had been driving all day and wanted to stay by the lighthouse. We got back from dinner around 10pm, exhausted. We had 2 queen beds, my cousin and myself. “The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. ”
