“Staff was friendly and whatever was needed got quickly. Room was clean. All in all great place to stay ”

“Worst hotel ever. Noisy, very small rooms. All lights are run by a central ( meaning You cant decide which light should be turned on. You will wake up in the middle of the night due to the central switchingbon the lights suddenly. Happened several times evey night. Stayed three nights anf then moved to another hotel. When there is wind and rain there is a structural problem that the hotel is aware of that make enormous noise. Stay away. ”

Mary is a wonderful host, chef and source of local information. All together a wonderful place to rest and stay when visiting St.John's and Newfoundland”

“Building and equipment in deep need of maintenance or rebuild. Cement bunker building with gym/pool untouched last 20-30 years. Bathrooms worn and accommodation in general need of refurbishing. Very friendly staff. Breakfast perhaps lower than continental standard. Spacious and good location.”
