We loved our stay! Beautiful home, beautiful location, wonderful area! I could stay on the deck all day if it wasn't for the beautiful beach so close by. Patruck is very responsive to any questions and made us feel very welcome. We would love to come back!

Walk on beach was lovely, mist over the marsh with morning coffee and Carolina Wren singing was peaceful start to our day home. Would definitely come back again if our travels bring us here. (And maybe not be busy at sunset so we could enjoy it!)

Totally recommend this beautiful home. The view and tranquility from the deck is amazing! The location is a perfect short walk to the beach and was just a short walk to our distant family in Milford! Patrick was the best host to deal with for anything we needed, just a text away!

This house was a perfect setting for a small family get-together. The scenery is beautiful and it's ideally located for walks to the beach and the boardwalk. Patrick was a responsive host, and really thought of everything when furnishing the house. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the sofa, the beds, the deck furniture. Ample parking for 3 cars, if needed. An excellent stay in a relaxing setting.

We had a lovely time! The communication with the host was reliable. He even had snacks for us, binoculars for bird watching, and some toiletries for the bathroom. The house was clean, cozy, quiet, and had an amazing view. It was steps away from the beach too! Great property for our family with 2 little kids. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Patrick’s place and would happily stay again. The rental was spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The sunsets over the marsh were beautiful, and one of our favorite parts of each day was watching the osprey parents tending to their young. Wish we could be there when they fledge! The house was equipped with beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella, making trips to the private beach (shared by neighboring homes) easy. The beach itself was peaceful and a real highlight of the stay (very nice at sunrise, I will add!). The rental itself has lots of parking, plenty of dishware, lots of drawers, closet space, and HOOKS which are so often absent from beach rentals. Patrick went out of his way to make the lift available to ease the burden of stairs on those in our party who didn’t want to make the climb every time. That level of accommodation made a difference and was deeply appreciated.A beautiful home, an excellent host, and a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended! We will be back!

At the House Beside the Sea(in the style of Jane Austen by the witty lady of accomplished understanding)Oh! Fairest dwelling by the ocean’s side,Where gentle waves in quiet splendour glide,Thy welcome warm did all my cares allay,And lend to every hour a blissful sway. Before our stay, thy words were kind and clear,Throughout our time, thy care did still appear; When parting came, thy thoughtfulness shone bright,And left our hearts in gratitude alight.Within thy walls, each comfort found its place,With every charm a seaside home should grace;Immaculate, with every need supplied,A tranquil refuge where the soul may bide. From porch’s edge, the sunset’s golden hueDid paint the sky in ev’ry tender view;Such scenes compel the longing heart to say,“We must return, nor tarry in delay.”A garden small, yet fit for merry play—For youthful feet that chase the ball away; And but a stroll, the silver beach appears,While shops and fare lie close, in miles mere. Thus, dearest home, accept our fond esteem,Thou art the very dwelling we did dream; And in our minds thy memory shall stay,Till chance or Fate brings us again this way
