“Very nice room. Very clean. The only negative thing was there was no in room coffee and going down to the breakfast room. I found the coffee pot was usually empty and when it did have coffee, the coffee was only lukewarm despite being in a carafe. I will not hesitate to stay here on my next trip to this area”

“Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. ”

“If you want a roof and a bed this is great. Otherwise it’s probably one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. It was dirty, eerie, and murky. We had a hole in the bathroom door and Lord knows what was splattered all over the walls and ceiling, and lots of bugs. This place was pretty bad. BUT, had a roof and a bed.”

“The room wasn’t the cleanest. There was foil left on the floor. As I looked further they were condom wrappers. The continental breakfast was a joke. I did not feel safe. There were shady people walking around. I blocked my door to sleep. I try to do laundry there and the dispenser was broken so I couldn’t get quarters and the front desk had none also. I left one day early and went to another hotel. I lost money but I’m glad I did it.”
