All about the View!
Can’t beat the wall of windows with a stunning view from a spacious family/dining room with LoTs of comfy seating. Easy kitchen for serving a house full. Lots of bedrooms - several nicer open up couches in addition. One full and one 1/2 bath accessible to all and the 2nd full luxurious BR is off the master bedroom …but we still shared. Our disappointments were the rusty very tired back yard patios and furniture- The empty propane tank mid our one eve of grilling. ( we filled it fyi and did not gather outdoors at all unfortunately ) The washer/dryer malfunctioned upon arrival however owner very responsive and had repairman there readily. Tips to renters- no spices, even salt shaker empty. Finally found toilet paper on floor of hall coat closet (I dunno?). Despite some disorganization, the zen sitting room was unique and made up for little frustrations. Once we figured out how to crank open the skylight, it was less of a sauna and we could enjoy the space. Location, parking in driveway- excellent. We had a terrific time! Much much more good in this home! Recommend.

Perfect view/location
Host was so gracious and responsive throughout initial contact to follow-up after visit. The arrangement of bedrooms (two up, three lower level) fit our group of ten members from three generations perfectly. Neighborhood was upscale, quiet, tucked away but really easy to access. Staying north of the GG Bridge allowed us enhanced navigation to the many sites and restaurants we visited. The "beach access" is a little tricky for older folks or people who are not steady on their feet. We left our hearts not in SF but in Sausalito!

A Good Stay
First time hosting my own Christmas Dinner for my family in the Bay Area (I’m based in LA) and it worked out really well. Pros: Overall it’s a great home with stunning views of the Richardson Bay. So Beautiful. Heated toilets, Woodsy Cabin Feel. Small Con: Could re-organize the kitchen storage a bit and keep more cleaning sprays or wipes available. I would rent again!

Great Property, Great Location
We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving, and had family in from Ohio, New York and California. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space for the extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thank you!!

Perfect Weekend
We stayed here for a friend's reunion, and we spent most of the time visiting SF. The house is fantastic and it was very easy getting into the city. Such a beautiful weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Thanksgving Holiday Stay
We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving at the house. Pros: Beautiful views, great kitchen, large living rooms, comfortable bedrooms. very nice and responsive owner. Cons: no patio furniture on beautiful lawn to enjoy views, difficult to get to the beach, needs a shower in second upstairs bedroom, However, despite Cons we had a great time and I'd stay there again.

It was the perfect weekend.
This house is fantastic. Nothing can beat the location and the views. The photos are totally accurate and if anything everything is a bit larger than what it seems. Shashi was very responsive and flexible. Anything mentioned below in not-so-great reviews we found to be no issue at all. Our group would re-visit this home in a heart beat. Lovely shoreside base for a family week
Very attractive, spacious, comfortable home in a great location and with great view. Home has all the needed amenities, though it could do with a bit of TLC and considerably more lighting.

Great location - nice common spaces
The location was great for us for sailing out of Tiburon and Sausalito and popping over to SF to see some friends. The house has access to the water and my in-laws and kid loved looking for shells and playing on the beach. The common spaces were nice, big sitting areas.

Location excellent, house not so good!
Great location with good views across the water and close but steep beach access. General condition of the house not up to snuff for this price. Only 2 1/2 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is pushing it. TV entertainment system badly in need of update, one TV did not work at all, the other eventually produced a low resolution picture with permanent black line across screen. A lot of chipped mugs and no wine glasses in kitchen. Also non functional toaster ( which has been reported before!). Master bed needs new mattress, also noted before. Back yard/lawn in shoddy condition for a property of this type. A very nice sunroom and certainly a good house for a family get together, but the owner needs to spend some money on it to bring it up-to expectations.

A great experience
This is a beautiful and very well maintained property. The location is perfect for a large family get together, the view from the house is stunning, the rooms are nicely appointed and the house was clean and ready for use when we arrived. I would recommend replacing the mattress in the master bedroom and adjusting the water pressure in the downstairs bathroom.

Spectacular view, great location
We had a wonderful stay at this Waterfront Getaway. We had multiple generations staying together and this house worked great for us. The neighborhood was special and we enjoyed walking down the road to a small waterfront playground. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Not what it seems
Besides beautiful view the house was dirty, had some awful beds, had broken showers, had mismatched lightbulbs in same fixture (at sink for example) and was hodge podge of rooms without adequate outlets. Fine if ok with lower standards as large and view great, but at this price point we were sorely disappointed. Oh, and the kitchen was awful with no adequate lighting, a broken toaster and zero staples.

Beautiful view!
Beautiful view and spacious house that comfortably fit our family of 13. Really nice area to go for walks in, and just a 10min drive to Sausalito. Our only complaint was that unfortunately the BBQ did not work, but the host was very apologetic and quick to respond. Overall, would strongly recommend this house, especially for large groups!

Great getaway for fishing
The house was great for our group of 12! We had come to go fishing and had full limits and the kitchen was awesome to cook it that night! Shopping is close and good! Thank you for sharing your home.

Stunning views, gracious home
We enjoyed the house, loved watching pelicans and ducks and perhaps even a pair of otters in the bay that the house faces. There was easy code access to the house and a kitchen you could cook in ( and we did) . It has lovely balconies facing the bay and 4 out of five bedrooms have that water view. It is less elegant more homey and that was a perfect fit for us. However there were ant problems that popped up several times and in different parts of the house, the kitchen, bathrooms and living room. It strangely didn’t seem related to food. In fairness we didn’t alert the owner until the morning we were leaving . The good news is the owner was immediately available on our first try and I imagine he will try and address the problem. It provided a very Picturesque and pleasant environment for our family’s holiday. There are toys for kids that we didn’t need but would be great for families with small kids. Wifi worked but we didn’t even try the tv. There was also a sunroom that doesn’t face the water but in warmer weather would be another great place for a family to gather, talk and play. With young kids one would need to be careful about getting to the small beach on the edge of their property which is on a steep slope with potentially hazardous stairs. . Mostly we just looked out the windows or enjoyed the sunshine on the balconies. Plenty hot water, never used the master bathroom’s jacussi .. but I would happily stay there again.

Beautiful view
Location of home is fantastic. The home was large enough to accommodate our family reunion before Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time. The house is a bit worn. There are no screens and it wasn’t as clean as I would have wanted. Lots of spider webs. We could only use one shower for all of us because the downstairs had no water pressure. Overall it was ok for our 3day gathering. The manager was very accommodating.

Gorgeous View & Lovely Location
This house was everything we needed for our family vacation. Everybody from 10 months old and beyond very much enjoyed their stay in this home. The location was amazing as the house is right on the water with boats and seaplanes passing by just outside the window. We were close enough to visit relatives nearby, shop, seaplane tour around the bay and even a day trip up to Napa. We had a very smooth check-in & check-out and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. One small thing was that the TV/entertainment system needed to be updated, I was lucky enough to have brought our AppleTV with us for some evening TV time. Other than that we had an absolutely lovely vacation and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Great retreat on the Bay!
This house is amazing. It's probably even better than advertised. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the private beach access down from the yard is a great plus, and the house itself was perfect for our weekend in the Bay. We golfed, went on a boat ride out of Sausalito harbor, enjoyed some of the local establishments, and mostly just hung out around the house and the grounds. Shashi was a gracious host who was even understanding when we accidentally broke something. Highly recommended.

HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR WHAT WE REQUIRED. GREAT VIEW. THE ONLY NEGATIVES, WATER PRESSURE IN DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM SHOWER VERY BAD. ANTS IN DINING ROOM. AND THE TELEVISION/ ENTERTAINMENT EQUIPMENT NEEDS SERIOUS UPDATING.

A nice house with a great waterfront view.
It could have been a little cleaner. We had a problem with flies and especially ants when we first got there. Two of the shower heads didn't work (but one was in a shower with two heads and the other worked). Overall it was a nice place to stay though my wife didn't feel the place was all that clean (she keeps a finely detailed house!)...but some folks probably wouldn't have thought much about it. Anyway, I'd stay there again.

Wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends
It was a perfect setting for our three generations of family. The adults enjoyed the location, the newborn enjoyed the quiet, the two and half year old made the whole house his castle. Highlights were: spotting the buck walking up the path from the beach, picking figs, big bath tub, and amazing steam room. We all loved the Japanese themed decoration as we have traveled to Japan together.

We did not feel the house was up to the standards we expected. When we arrived and opened the door, there was a very bad smell. We looked at the view and the windows were filthy and there was a huge bird excrement on a main window. The windows had obviously not been cleaned in some time. The children removed their shoes and their socks turned black within the first hour or so.The floors felt sticky and so did the kitchen cabinets. There were food crumbs in the silverware drawer as well as several other drawers. Most of the dishes were chipped. We discarded two bottles of open mayonnaise that were in the cupboards. There were also several other open condiments in cabinets that require refrigeration on the shelves. We kept all our food out on the counter, as the cabinets were not clean. There were large cobwebs on the artwork on the staircase as well as a hole in the wall. The door out of the lower bedroom did not lock. There was a pole there to prop it closed, but it did not fit well. The light over the stove did not work and it was quite dark for cooking. The lights in the lower bathroom flickered off and on. One of the ovens did not function. The interiors of the kitchen cabinets were very dirty. The garbage bins were overflowing when we arrived. I notified the owner and he sent someone over to collect the trash, as we had no place to put it. The toilet in one bathroom kept running and the owner attended to that as well. There was a hose dripping by the front steps which we were unable to fix. I have taken several photos to explain these things. The location was nice and we enjoyed the view, however the property needs quite a lot of work to be worth the high price we paid. I have a good friend in property management in Sausalito and she did not feel the house was up to the quality required for the price. I did not notice that there were only 2 1/2 baths. It was not enough for the number of guests that the listing says it accommodates. The guests in the front bedroom were very cold as that room is quite dark. We also had ants on the master bath counter and could not leave any toiletries there.

Sublime views, exceptional architecture, very special place to stay
This house is amazing! The location is perfect for a quiet escape, yet it's close to all the restaurants and shops you might want. It's easy to get to San Francisco if you're visiting the area. The house itself is truly extraordinary. The architecture is stunning, and the finishes and quality of materials and furniture are truly luxurious. The views from the rooms defy description. It's right on the water so you see boats and mountains and water planes. You can walk down to a little beach from the property. The host is wonderful, easy to communicate with, and accomodating as well. Truly a special place to stay, worth every penny, and would go back as soon as possible!

This house was first class!!
Shashi was a very accommodating host. The view was exceptional. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was stocked. This house was perfect for my family to spend time together all in one place before my wedding. We would very much love to stay here again.

Wonderful location on San Francisco Bay
This spacious home is great for large groups. The open gathering areas provide plenty of space and the bedrooms are arranged to provide maximum privacy. Large windows look out on peaceful water views with an occasional takeoff or landing of the Marin Sea Plane to keep things interesting.

Beautiful location, varying temperatures in the house
Loved our stay in the SF area! Beautiful view of the water, large kitchen and lots of room for the 4 of us that stayed there. Only complaint would be that the guests who stayed on the bottom level couldn't find a thermostat to adjust the temperature. We found one in the room with the fireplace but it didn't seem to effect the downstairs areas. SF nights can get pretty cold and the top level would be warm and the bottom chilly at night. All in all, good place to stay. Would rent again.

Great for a group of people
Our family (nine members) stayed at this house for an early Thanksgiving celebration. The house was just right for the occasion. It's a very nice house and it accommodated everyone easily. The kitchen is roomy and allowed for multiple people to be working at the same time. The views of the Bay and Sausalito from the house are excellent.

Wish we had more time
My colleagues and I stayed here while attending a conference in San Francisco. Unfortunately, we left in the morning and returned in the evening every day and did not get to fully enjoy all the features of the home. It was great that everyone was able to have their own bedroom. The driveway is a little steep and we bumped our car on the bottom a little when going in and out. Not much to be done about that but wanted to make others aware for when they arrive. Thanks for a great stay!

Hi Rebecca Miner, Thanks for your review. I am so glad that you had a great stay. Sorry about the steep driveway. In fact it used to be even steeper and rather dangerous when I purchased this home. But I had it redone, as being staying there, I needed a safe driveway. Now only low elevated cars gets little brushing at the bottom. Being water front home on a hill, the topography of the area is such that it is impossible to have an even surfaced driveway. Thanks for staying at my home. Please come again. Everything we asked for, and more!
We couldn't have asked for a better home for our girls weekend. We loved the proximity to the quaint, small-town of Sausalito (great for breakfasts and shopping!) yet the house did not feel far away from our multiple trips into the city. The house itself was immaculately clean, the bedrooms were roomy, and the house was well stocked with supplies (towels, toilet paper, coffee). The large living room was a perfect place to sit and enjoy drinking coffee while looking over the bay. We were even greeted by a family of deer on two different mornings! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Perfect for a visit to San Francisco or Marin
We had a family reunion vacation at this property. The house is great for a large group with five bedrooms and additional sofa beds, multiple living spaces, large kitchen and outdoor patios and yard. The view is incredible, especially from the upper level living room and master bedroom. The house and furniture are beautiful and well maintained and all modern appliances are available. The owner is very organized, communicates promptly and is flexible. The location is close to downtown Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

AVON 39 Team House
Our team needed a large house for several adults to call "home base" during our trip to San Francisco to attend the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer. This property fit the bill exceptionally. Close enough to the city to go when needed, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and experience the area North of the Golden Gate Bridge. We were so surprised to see deer in the back yard on our arrival! Groceries, coffee houses and nice locally owned restaurants were a short drive away. The house was large, clean and well equipped; and after walking 39 miles, the walkers appreciated the beautiful spa tub and sauna! An important feature for us was the fact that all bedrooms had queen beds. Mr. Singapuri was a very gracious host, recommending restaurants in the area, and ensuring that the house was 100% ready for our arrival. He also followed up after we arrived to ensure that we had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this home to large families vacationing or groups of adults attending an event. The main living area was large enough for all of us to relax and watch a movie, but there were other nooks to escape to when we needed alone time. We were disappointed yesterday, when we had to fly home, but hope to return to this beautiful Mill Valley property in the future.

Amazing view
