She was extremely accommodating and helpful. After our long drive it was a pleasure to meet such a friendly person at the door!! “The kitchen was not what we were expecting and it was tough with the only sink being the kitchen sink for the cabin and keeping hair and grooming items away from food.”

“Marie was an excellent host and wealth of knowledge as to what to see,do,and eat while in Homer. And her breakfasts were spectacular!! Loved the homemade fresh jams, jellies, and syrups. The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska.”

“It rests between the Homer Spit and the city of Homer. The room was clean and it was modern. It could use some sound proofing between rooms. I know way to much of my neighbors business.”

“Beautiful view with great location just outside Homer. Saw moose, eagles, and Sandhill cranes in back yard. Great balcony with lots of extra amenities. Easy check in process.”

“This cabin was great! There were seven of us that stayed there with plenty of room! We loved the location of the hotel because we were a quick drive away from Homer! The pictures do not do this place justice!! Highly recommend!”

“Great location, stunning views and wildlife watching. A beautiful cabin with everything two people need and more. Management immediately responsive to requests. Highly recommend and will be back for sure. Super clean and convenient.”

“Wonderful view! Nice, roomy unit. Two issues. 1. Couldn’t figure out how to use the tv. Searching said no channels found. 2. Unit description online showed “kitchen”. There was a little fridge in the room with a microwave on top. That’s not a kitchen.”

“It's a beautiful cabin, either new or just updated. It only had 1 bed and an uncomfortable pullout couch, which i didn't find 100% clear in the listing. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The best part was the location, being right by the lake. We sat by the water and watched at least 25 planes take off and land! They provide ear plugs and sleep masks which are required because the door doesn't have a curtain to block the light.”

“We like everything about this property! We travel extensively and I really believe this host offered the “little” details possible. A small candy dish, a booklet full of local information, soft towels, make up towels, nice shower heads, coffee products, etc…. We enjoyed the balcony, recliners and soft bed. Nearby float planes coming and going did make noise that could bother some, but we know those sounds are the price of adventure for others, overall this is a great place to stay!”
