Luxury Lodge Suite with Jacuzzi - Near Berlin Ohio

From a perched view overlooking a pond, the Owl’s perch is the perfect vantage point for a scenic, mostly wooded quiet stay. With over 1,100 square feet, the Owls perch is located only 1/2 mile to Berlin. Offering luxury comfort, the Owls Perch features a full living room area with 25-foot vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, Jacuzzi tub for 2, full kitchen, 55" LED TV, and a spacious relaxing living room.

Your spacious 2 story accommodations provide sleeping quarters on both floors.

BEDROOM 1: Sleep soundly in a premium queen-size bed nestled between a unique log base and rugged log headboard, all underneath a ceiling with roughhewn beams supported by walls made of split log planking. The large windows on two walls allow plenty of light in the daytime with privacy shades for the night. Your sleeping alcove is adjoined by a rustic bathroom featuring an all-wood counter with a farmhouse sink and a walk-in glass shower big enough for two. A hairdryer and essential amenities are provided to help you start your day or prepare for the evening out.

LOFT: Ascend the staircase to discover a loft overlooking the first floor. This intimate space hosts a queen-size bed, a comfortable reading chair, and a two-person jetted tub encased in stone and nestled perfectly under the eaves for maximum privacy and charm. The portal window and large arched window add to the character and beauty of this upstairs hide-a-way.

LIVING AREA: Boasts a massive 2 story stone hearth that encases a large gas fireplace. A comfortable sofa and overstuffed soft chair are the perfect places to read by the fire or watch the 50 inch Roku Smart TV. Split log planking and roughly finished beams surround you as you enjoy your breakfast at the sturdy wooden four-person table with chairs. This room has its own heating and air conditioning unit to maximize your comfort.

KITCHEN: Home to a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, and an oven with a 4-burner stovetop. There are ample pots and pans if you feel like making your favorite vacation meal, or a microwave oven for heating up the leftovers from one of our amazing restaurants in town. A toaster and drip coffee maker round out the appliances which are at your disposal.

French doors open onto a private balcony where you can rest in the hickory rockers while surveying the wooded front lawn and the peaceful pond across the road. Chances are good that you will hear the horse's hoofbeats moments before you witness one of our local Amish friends driving his buggy down the road. Your cabin is located in the heart of the largest Amish settlement in the world and there is plenty to do and see nearby.

In addition to your indoor space, front porch, and private balcony, you can use the charcoal grill. You may also walk the paved pathways of our campus and hike up the scenic county road to town or down the same road to explore nearby fields, creeks, and wooded areas. Relax and unwind at the indoor hot tub as you soak away your stress and indulge in some well-deserved relaxation, warm up and rejuvenate in the sauna for a soothing experience that will leave you feeling refreshed, or if a cold plunge is more your style, we offer that, too! Let the fun begin by using your keycode to access your free day passes and take your relaxation to the next level.

Access to your suite is via keypad code with a code that will be provided upon confirmation.

This cabin is on a property with several other stand-alone cabins. While located in a peaceful and serene setting, your suite is less than a mile away from the heart of Berlin with all its shops, restaurants, flea markets, and attractions. In a 10-mile radius of your tranquil base are the villages of Mt Hope, Bunker Hill, Charm, and the towns of Walnut Creek and Millersburg. Along the way to places like Bunker Hill Cheese, Breitenbach Winery, or the Amish Country Theater, you may come across a team of horses plowing the field, Amish farmers shocking wheat or making hay, and some of the most beautiful countryside in the Midwest.

While public transportation is limited in our area, the charm of Amish country is driving the back roads and coming across sights you cannot find anywhere else. When you want to get down to serious shopping there is free public parking available in town and at all the attractions outside of town. There are even several places where you can travel as our Amish neighbors do in a genuine Amish buggy driven by one of our local Amish men who will tell you little-known facts about the plain folk's way of life.

Non-Smoking Rooms
We are strictly non-smoking. Outside areas may be used for smoking only if the smoke does not enter any of the accommodations. A $450/night fee is assessed for smoking.

No Pets
Pets (no matter how well behaved) are not permitted at our properties. Please respect future guests with allergies and our efforts to keep up all rooms to highest standards. A $250/night pet fee is assessed.

We will not tolerate any behavior that disturbs other guests, including playing music too loud, arguments or fights, slamming doors, or damaging units. Any of these behaviors can result in your being asked to leave without a refund.
