“First time visiting here, even though we only live a shortish distance away. Can't believe we haven't been there before! Such friendly helpful staff. The room was immaculate, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was also delicious. We will definitely return, as we want to try the Spa facilities.”

“OK, yes, some carpets need replacing, but cleanliness was A1. Staff were a delight - helpful and up for a laugh. The pools and steam room/sauna were really relaxing - once the children left... but, it's their pool as much as any one elses... children eh!? Breakfast was a usual self service affair, but really tasty and welcome after a swim and steaming session. We hope to return! ”

“Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. ”

“Spires hotel ligger perfekt om du tycker om att promenera. Gå en tur längs floden, promenera till någon av alla parker och när du kommer hem till hotellet väntat poolen. Lagom promenad till centrum och alla sevärdheter. Mysig patio och trevlig bar”

“Fint ställe med oerhörd potential men som hotell saknar det där "lilla extra" som skulle göra det till ett riktigt bra val givet priset. Frukost och middag endast godkänt. Det kändes som att hela stället skulle behöva lite med energi, kärlek och underhåll. Bäst var parken och spat. Även rummen var mycket fina och kändes helt nya (rum i stallet). Skulle kunna tänka mig att åka igen dit men förväntningarna var högre. ”

“After the hustle and bustle of London, we loved walking into the Lygon Arms which was quaint and full of charm. The common areas of the Inn were very old world English and provided the charm we were hoping for. The rooms while equally charming had modern conveniences like a heated towel rack, blow dryer and the new shower/tub area, and a nice spa and pool. I recommend booking your spa treatment a week before you arrive. The location of the Lygon Arms provided a good point to start our tour thru...
