Denna spektakulära stuga vid floden är den perfekta hem-hemifrån för att starta din nästa Georgia-semester. Ditt morgonkaffe smakade aldrig bättre än när du gillade dig när du tog öring ut ur floden Toccoa precis utanför däck. Kok upp dagens färska fångst på gasgrillen eller gå gamla skolan för att steka den i gjutjärn över några heta glöd i eldstaden. Senare utmana en vän till en pool och servera några drinkar i baren i källarområdet. Spela tillbaka på en täckt skärmad veranda och ta långa blöter i badtunnan.

Vad finns i närheten:
Gå in i Blue Ridge centrum för alla typer av restauranger som Serenity Garden Cafe för deras hamburgare, grillade ostsmörgåsar, pommes frites, enorma pannkakor och kex. Cantaberry har fantastiska grub som deras tomatbasilika och soppor med ölost. Du bör också prova Mike's Trackside BBQ för deras gröna bönor, coleslaw, potatis sallader, drog fläsk, bakade bönor och revben. Blue Ridge är hem för Blue Ridge Scenic Railway och ligger intill fantastiska vandringar i Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, också början / slutet av Appalachian Trail. Toccoa-floden byter namn till Ocoee-floden vid Tennessee-gränsen i McCayesville. Det finns fantastiskt året runt öringfiske från Blue Ridge Dam (Tammen Park access) till Curtis Byt ner till McCayesville. Mindre än 30 minuter från stugan ligger fantastisk guidad forsränning på Ocoee, hem för olympiska slalombanan 1996. De högsta faller i GA, Amicalola Falls, är en snabb 45 minuters bilresa.

Cabin could be beautiful if, attention to cleanliness !! Exterior needs good washing down, cobwebs, dirt & dust .. dirty dishes , pans found in cupboards .. And the mounted fish on wall of back porch has decayed !! Upkeep is failing !!

Amazing location, house needs some TLC.

This place is DISGUSTING! The roach infestation was so bad that my kids couldn't sleep in their room upstairs for 3 nights b/c of the number of roaches crawling on the walls & ceiling. In the kitchen, there was a mishmash of functional items. The dishes are random & mismatched with not nearly enough utensils for a party of 8. There are about 5 glasses and random coffee mugs. The under-counter lights don’t work. For the money, I would have thought the kitchen would be more user friendly than it was. The main table has a broken leg. The faucet at the sink is about to come disconnected from the counter. The freezer does not get below freezing. The working lightbulbs in the fixtures on the porches outside are minimal. There is a rusted table with two unmatched chairs scattered in the yard that you can use if you want to risk having your legs near the nasty spider webs covering the center of the table. The dishwasher barely cleans rinsed off/mostly washed dishes. Two of the toilets had issues working well. There is a level of expectation a family should have for a “mountain, riverfront property,” but I assure you, our expectations are not out of bounds, especially paying the amount of money we paid. Cheap toilet paper & paper towels-sure. Heck, the COMPLETE lack of ambiance, decor, warmth, etc. would be ok if this place was clean & functional. The rental company was helpful, but I was disappointed in the amount offered to be credited.

Cabin was awesome

Stay was miserable. Power went out 30 minutes after we got there. Which could not be helped. But in the middle of the night this beeping started behind a locked door. After numerous calls we had no relief. The beeping lasted for 17 hours. Then in the middle of the day the alarms started going off. Your customer service could not give us help or get in touch with anyone. We ended up calling 911. They checked for gas leak. Finally Your guy showed up and disconnected. The service in an emergency was unacceptable. We lost $250 worth if food and the cost of the cabin. Our stay was ruined WITH all the beeping and alarms and no solution. We were working around not having power but the other issues were a fiasco. Would like some money back. Cant recommend you because of the way the emergency was handled.

3RD STAY HERE... NEVER AGAIN

I have stayed at this cabin before when listed with private/local rental company and now it is managed by Vacasa/VRBO....I was sad to see how much it has changed and not in a positive way at all. I was truly disappointed in the condition of the cabin along with the response from Vacasa when help was needed with the television. I The first issue was the cleanliness of the cabin,,, the actual MOLD in the bathrooms and holes in the quilts and shower liners....disgusting. Long time buildup of cobwebs everywhere. Broken outdoor furniture, hot tub not properly cleaned or correct balance of chemicals causing odor. I can go on and on.. Also there are very limited items in the kitchen so bring tuber ware and mixing bowls etc.. Now that I look I should have been warned by the past reviews. -

Filthy with no good compensation

We got to this cabin and there was food in the sink, all the dishes had to be washed before we could use them, the floors felt like there was a dirty film over them, there was food and mail clippings on the couch, and the air wasn’t left on it was 79 degrees when we got there and had to wait til the next morning for the cabin to finally get to a comfortable degree. Talked to management and the best the could offer was half of the cleaning fee, even though clearly the cabin had not been cleaned. Also all the towels had a sour smell.

Wonderful River cabin

My sons enjoyed fishing right outside of the cabin. Some of the kids tubed the river and we all enjoyed playing pool in game room. Would definitely stay here again!

We were VERY disappointed with our cabin even thought the cabin is decent and the pics looked ok. The AC was not working, it was over 90 degrees out and the cabin was unbearable. Also, NO decor or personality, the cabin had living room furniture that was ready for the garbage. Foam coming out of the ottoman and a small TV stand "table" was all we had to put a cup down on. If you are looking for a "charming" cabin, this is not it, this is a property that is used as a business.......spend as little as possible on the cabin but charge as much as possible.to those that want to use it. I would never come back to this cabin. Mineral Bluff is nice.

Great location for a destination wedding for our daughter two houses down from us on fish trap trail

Loved the property and view right on the river. Overall we had a great stay. Needs better house cleaning. The upstairs balcony door was open when we arrived and there was bugs in the bathroom. On the main balcony there was a bucket with cigarette butts im assuming from the last visitors. In the contract it stated no smoking on the premises. None of our party smokes. The cleaners left a vacuum hose on the front porch. As you walk into the front door you get a beautiful view of the river but there were smudges/small fingerprints on the bottom half of the door in assuming from a child since animals are not allowed. Dryer lint was not emptied, microwave door is broken on the bottom screw and one of the dining chairs wicker seat is coming apart. We did have a great stay, but needs better cleaning/upkeep. I have pics of you need to see.

Wonderful!

My family had an amazing experience and found the property to be quiet, restful, and just what we needed to have a retreat from our hectic lives. Property was beautiful and secluded without feeling completely disconnected from the nearby town. Highly recommend!
