“This was a comfortable stay. The people were very pleasant and the room was clean. The hotel is definitely dated but again clean and well managed. The bed was one of the best I had stayed in the last few years.”

“A good solid room. Hotel room was quiet and the A/C worked well. 24-hour free coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was a bit on the sparse side. Overall a good alternative to staying at the mondo expensive Casino hotel. I would probably stay there again.”

“Expedia let us make reservations several months ago for Super Bowl Weekend but did not coordinate with the owners of Newfound Lodge as the hotel was closed for the season. Expedia should not be making reservations for a hotel that is closed and also should let customers know that it wasn’t going to be open. I don’t blame Newfound Lodge but this needs to be fixed! ”

“Ecno Lodge är ett trevlig litet motel som ligger i Cherokees utkant. Det var snabb och enkel in- och utcheckning, rummen var aningen slitna men helt ok. En väldigt enkel frukost, helt utan proteinprodukter, ingick i priset. Man kunde dock göra gröt, och det fanns färdiga våfflor, yoghurt och bröd att rosta. Sängarna var också ok. Läget var bra. Vi kände oss trygga och sov gott. Man kan med fördel välja ett rum på övre plan så blir det lite tystare, tror jag. Byn var väldigt mysig och våra barn...

“Check in was pleasant. The pool and hot tub are not open at this time. That was not listed online. The room smelled of urine and cigarettes. One of the beds had blood on the blanket. The key cards had to be reset every time you walked out of the room. The vending machines were out of order. The cleaning crew was waiting outside our door for us to hurry up and leave. “We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. This b&b is tucked away from the hustle of town while still being conveniently located. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and we enjoyed seeing the various animals that live nearby. Toni is a wonderful host to the guests and really made all the difference in our stay.
