Funky layout - a super cool house in a great neighborhood. A little store is just a 2 min walk away as well as a pub with great food. The house was perfect for our group with multiple seating areas for hanging out and a big table for everyone to sit at together. The basement is a little basement-y (dehumidifiers running) but provided just enough space. The beds are pretty firm but comfortable. The host was very quick to respond about an outlet that wasn't working. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you are staying in the Twin Cities area!

Lovely property in older, established neighborhood. It's close to all the great things to do in either St. Paul or Minneapolis. I grew up and brought a group of friends to visit Minnesota. It is situated close to multiple freeways/main throughfares so able to get anywhere easily. Lots of local restaurants, coffee shops, dessert places and pizza places nearby. James Beard winner nearby as well.The house is much larger than pictures depict. Five women were able to come together but have our separate places as well. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware (although we did not do any cooking given the many places to eat in the area). Loved the family room, multiple dining spaces.No cable, but all streaming apps available. 4 bathrooms were well appointed with toilet paper towels, makeup washcloths. The QR codes were fun and fun to look up. Best stocked VRBO I have stayed in with coffee, creamer, filters, sugars etc. Plenty of coffee cups for a big group. Outside seating is plentiful, shaded and with party lights (but mind the noise...). We had a great time and would stay again. Don't hesitate, worth the money. Owner was prompt, easy to communicate with and gave us several options for check in and check out. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for the week. We will be back!

Overall, our group had a comfortable stay. The number of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms were great for our large group. The house had lots of old house charm mixed with some unique updates. The owners were thoughtful about the amenities they provided as well as their recommendations for favorite activities and eating spots. The house was in a great central location. When we were having some trouble with the lock, the owner was very quick to respond to help troubleshoot. One thing to note is although the kitchen is great with stocked cupboards and updates, it is very small and is a main thorough way from one part of the house to the other. This is something to consider if you plan on doing a lot of cooking or if you have more elderly guests who have trouble doing the steps that go through the other thorough way. I would book this house again for a large group in the future. The couple of things I would suggest would be to eventually look at updating the carpet and to remove or paint over some larger black skid marks on the walls of the downstairs staircase, hallways and bedroom. This would make it feel even more updated and leave an even better impression.Thank you!

Great family place

This property is just as advertised - excellent space to get together. It is in a quiet older neighborhood, tree lined streets, great for walking. It is also close to a number of places to walk or have food delivered. The house is older with a mix of gorgeous woodwork and quirky more modern additions. We loved it. We had no issue parking both an SUV and a Minivan in the small driveway off of the alley. We also never had an issue with plenty of available street parking. The owners obviously put effort into hosting, from available coffee and popcorn, to toiletries, to high quality towels and mattresses. Very pleased in every way.

This is a very clean and organized home. We really enjoyed the wonderful grocery store at the end of the block and the other little shops in the area. If you are a tall person beware of some of the stairways and you will have trouble in the shower on the main floor. The rest of the bathrooms are great.

This house was perfect for our family and friends reunion. Plenty of space for dining, socializing and plenty of comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen is narrow so don’t expect a lot of teamwork in cooking but it is certainly adequate. We loved the location in a lovely neighborhood, great for walking. A small store is at one corner, a tap house the other and a gas station and wine/beer shop in the next block. Tanya was a great communicator and quickly answered all my questions. I highly recommend this rental if you have a large group.

Great house with all the amenities included! Only thing that was an issue was the Hot water ran out rather quickly for a house that sleeps 16. Love the charm and character of the house. Nice to have blankets in the living room, games available and a fully stocked kitchen! Overall a wonderful stay! Property manager was awesome too.

Great property with the best host I've experienced

My friends and I were traveling to Minnesota for the pond hockey tournament and had 13 guests all looking to stay in one house. Not an easy task! This home was perfect for our group with plenty of room to spread out My communication with the host from day one was excellent. She quickly responded to all of my questions and was great about helping us with a couple of requests. You can tell that she really cares about providing a quality experience for her guests. The house itself was well cared for and well stocked. It was great not to need to worry about packing soap or shampoo or immediately stocking up the home with extra paper towels or TP. We also had all of the basics that we needed for cooking, including good quality pans and dishes. The sheets and towels were also good quality and comfortable and extra blankets were provided. I recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

Family holiday

We rented as a place to get together for the holidays. The place was easy to find for folks who drove as well as those coming from the airport. Check in was easy and the house was ready as expected. We had 5 adults and 5 kids ranging from 8-16. The space was awesome! Grandma was able to stay in the first floor so she didn’t have to climb stairs. The rest of us spread out in all of the wonderful bedrooms and the 3 girls shared the basement game room and had a multi night “slumber party”. The game room was awesome. The Wii provided hours of entertainment and the laughter I heard was hilarious! All the kids loved it. We were able to hang out in the family room at the back of the house. It had more than enough room for us all to hang out, play games, do a puzzle etc. The house included puzzles and games which was a great touch! The kitchen table and dining room table were both perfect for our family. Dining room even fit all 10 comfortably and we’re not small people (most around 6 foot or taller). The kitchen was narrow (as pictured), but wasn’t an issue. There were plenty of plates, utensils, cooking supplies, leftover containers…you name it, it was here (even an extra fridge)! The house was also convenient to go to MOA, out to dinner, skiing etc. Easy to get to and parking in the back and on the street was no problem. Our host, Tanya, was super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend this rental!!
