“My Business partner and I had a wedding close by and decided to drive down the night before. There were no hotels close by and we were desperate for something closer. We are Gypsy Hair Guru, a traveling hair and makeup team that specializes in weddings. Urstad accomadated our late arrival and our early departure. I told them not to worry about breakfast because we were leaving at 6:30am and they still brewed fresh coffee and put out a delicious blueberry muffin bread that was amazing. Thank you...

“Clean room”

“Property is dated but okay. Hotel room didn't have hand soap in the bathroom and the body wash was empty.”

“Everything about our stay was amazing. It will be the only place we stay for now on!!”

“Close to downtown”

“There was no pool or exercise room like was stated on the site. Breakfast was pretty much gone when I got down there. The staff stood out by the front door smoking.”

“The room was not very clean, stuff splattered on bathroom walls, heavy layer of dust in sleeping area. Freezer frosted over so bad the door wouldn’t shut, bathtub drain couldn’t keep up with shower, corner of the window screen was pulled open and shredded. There was a beetle in the bathroom and one in the breakfast area.”

“Hotel was horrible. Carpet was wet, room felt and smelt damp. Our room had an armchair with a seat cushion that didn’t match the chair and the vinyl on the cushion was all ripped up. Big hole in the carpet. Bedding was stained. There was a mysterious sauce stain on the phone handle. The phone didn’t have a way to contact the front desk. Ceiling had holes both in the room and hallway. The outside siding was severely damaged”

“Check in was just fine, lobby was hot and humid. When we got to the room it smelled musty and they had a cup under the back of the toilet to catch the dripping fitting. Pool area was okay but the pool walls and bottom needed a good scrubbing.”

“Suite comes stocked with plates, utensils, pot and pan. We like how they had dish soap and a scrubber too. Pretty much the basic stuff you need to cook and clean up after. The grill outside came in handy and next door is a gas station and Mexican restaurant. Very convenient location.”
