“The room was nice and the location was great, close to both beach and the main shopping street. However, it was also close to the Amtrak rail where the trains signaled loudly at all hours (albeit only every two hours or so since it is Amtrak). Breakfast was served on paper plates which suited us fine but didn’t exactly give off an air of luxury. Lovely staff though, helpful with directions and with giving me a bag when I wanted to carry the breakfast up to our room. ”

“This Hotel was quaint and retro. The descriptions and reviews told us just that. For the price, we truly enjoyed having a balcony with every room to listen to the ocean. We were on the 3rd floor. We watched people gather every day on the beach and surroundings. The hotel was dated but comfy. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and even the grocery store. “Waypoint is very pet friendly. We stayed the night with our dog and she was comfortable in the trailer. The train passing startled her a bit but after one or two passes she was fine. The room was so cool to stay in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There are lots of activities to do on property and lots of things to do in a walkable distance. We are excited to stay at Waypoint again!”

“I had a quick weekend stay and it was great. Check in was easy. I had fun conversation with Jessica and found out we have lived in some of the same cities. My room was clean and perfect for my quick trip. I didn’t utilize the restaurant that much but there is a breakfast buffet at and some other breakfast items for a reasonable price. I love the little snack area which was great for some late night munchies. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from my friend’s house which was why I was in town....
