The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of the permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or another flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Would not stay here again

This is more like a hotel room than a condo. It has the smallest mini fridge I have ever seen. Was unable to cook a full meal as the refrigeration would not hold the needed ingredients. There is no washer and dryer which is a real issue if you are staying for more than a few days. The bed was like sleeping on rocks. After 3 days of little to no sleep, they got us a mattress topper which was a 11/2 inch thick piece of foam that did not solve the problem. There were no rugs and the tile floor was dirty. They sent a housekeeper to clean the floor.
