Our well kept complex at GulfView II offers a community pool (seasonally heated), a hot tub, community charcoal grills, and an exclusive gated beach access just steps away from your front door. Parking is close to the building, making check in a breeze.

What you'll experience staying at Shelly Sands:



As you arrive at our condo, you'll feel an instant "vacation mode" set in as you hear the splashing in the pool right at the entrance, and see the waves crashing right across the street from our place. Our building is closest to the parking lot, making it simple to come & go. Up to the third floor, you'll see our condo right at the top of the stairs, and enter with your private keyless entry code.



Upon entering, to the left is the King bedroom. Our cozy King mattress will leave you with a great nights sleep after a long day in the sun! We have a Roku-enabled TV here, so guests can feel free to login to their own media while traveling (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) Enjoy closet space, and a small dresser to store your belongings in during your stay.



The bathroom is ensuite with direct access from the bedroom. You have a toilet, sink & vanity, and a shower & tub combo. The bathroom has a "Jack and Jill" style entrance on the opposite side, making it easy to access for your additional guests as well.



The hallway to the living space offers a set of built in Twin bunk beds, which is a great space for extra guests & always a big hit for kids!



The living room area offers vaulted ceilings, a Queen sleeper sofa, an accent chair, Roku-enabled TV, and plenty of natural light from our sliding glass doors! Step outside onto our cozy balcony to enjoy having a cup of Joe or an adult beverage.



The kitchen area is an open concept to the living room, with a breakfast bar & dining table with adequate seating for meals, or even a great workspace for those "work from home" trips. We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, and plastic dinnerware, utensils, & cups for our tiny travelers as well!



You are directly off the staircase that leads to the pool and hot tub area, and laundry right outside the door (the laundry facility does accept cash/coins/cards). Parking is easy and convenient as well, with the lot right at the bottom of the staircase that leads to your place! Please keep in mind as this is a third floor unit, there are three flights of stairs. Please note that there is no elevator in the complex.



**Please note: A washer and dryer is not offered inside the unit, but there is a Pay Per Use community laundry room available for your stay. The community laundry room is located on the same floor next to the stairway.**



Guest Access:

• You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in.

• Please note this unit is in a shared building, not a standalone home.

• Guests have full access to the condo, the complex pool & hot tub, pay per load laundry, and the gated beach access right across the street.



The Neighborhood:

• This condo is in it's own little slice of paradise! Directly across the street is gated beach access for GulfView guests! You are also right along Scenic Highway 98, where there are many restaurants, beach stores, and of course our beautiful sandy white beaches!

• A few minutes drive in either direction will take you to Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Destin Commons (shopping/entertainment), HarborWalk Village, Big Kahunas, The Track, and many grocery stores, restaurants, and attractions for all ages.



Getting Around:

• This property boasts a prime location, with the beach and several restaurants within walking distance. Situated right on the Miramar Beach/Destin line, you'll find that everything is just a short drive away.

• During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction!

• Airport Distances:

Destin FL (VPS) - 18 miles

Panama City FL (ECP) - 49 miles

Pensacola FL (PNS) - 76 miles



Other Things to Note:

• This is a third-floor unit, with no elevator access, stairways only. This unit is not a good fit for guests with mobility issues or concerns. While we do our best to provide a peaceful stay, some factors such as community activity and neighboring guests are outside of our control. Please note this unit is part of a shared building, not a stand-alone home.

• Linens and beach towels are provided. A courtesy supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bag, dish and laundry detergent) is included. For longer stays or larger groups, please bring any additional supplies you may need.

• Please note that beach equipment and beach supplies are not provided.

• We can accommodate up to 2 vehicles in the parking lot, with provided parking passes for your stay. Golf cart, trailer, RV, box truck, or watercraft parking is not permitted in the complex. HOA towing fees apply for any violations.

• As this is a residential complex, a 10PM noise ordinance is in effect. Excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances are not permitted at any time.

• We are not pet friendly at any time, as our HOA does not permit pets.
