Pool had a ring of dirt/scum around it; needed to be drained and refilled. Floors weren’t clean. Trash outside of property, landscaping rough rough shape and those weeds growing awhile or they don’t know what a plant is verse a weed. Room falling apart in need of minor repairs or things not working. Breakfast descent but no attendant. Floor cleaning not done or deep cleaning never takes places. TLC needed there.

The rooms were not kept up to corporate standards, outside riddled with trash, landscaping a mess and scary people in parking lot. Elevators floors extremely dirty. Room was sort of clean. Things weren’t kept up and falling through the cracks as small things not working, wall paper falling off wall, lights didn’t work , window was stuck like super glued and fresh air important when on a upper level. Outside Windows needed cleaning. Needs TLC. Breakfast was surprisingly nice which made up for the bad stuff but no attendant

I would stay at their hotel again. My only problem was, the other guests on the floor I was on were loud, rude and obnoxious. They were banging on doors, running up and door the hall and loud. By the time I would've called the front desk, they would've stopped. This happened both nights I were there. The hotel and staff were great!

The property was really clean. A little dated in decor but for $65 a night was a steal! Nice big fluffy towels. Great fluffy feather pillows and nice lines. Clean large pool. Breakfast even had real scrambled eggs. Close to all restaurants and shopping. Definitely would stay again. Basic hotel nothing fancy but definitely worth the money

The hotel is a bit run down but it was clean. I couldn't get the internet to work right. Had trouble regulating the heat. It was really hot in there all night. The guy at the front desk was really nice but the woman who checked me in was not very friendly.

It was one night stay with my son for his tennis tournament in town. The check in was quick. Room was clean and morning breakfast excellent. Nothing to complain . All good. Will stay again in future..

The staff seemed inattentive and unavailable from the time we arrived until departure. The breakfast was stale and not replenished so if you went down to breakfast by 8 there was not much to choose from even though it was available until 9:30 am. The hotel is run down, rooms are not made up each day. At checkout we were told they only make up rooms every three days! Charging 300.00 a night and not cleaning the room is ridiculous. Will never stay at a Comfort Inn again.

We had a bad experience booking online. We booked after midnight and when we arrived at the property the doors were locked for security reasons which is understandable , however when I rang the bell over 5 times no came to the door. I had to call the hotel.We were finally let in to go check in and they did not have a reservation for us in the computer. We had already paid on Expedia so we had to contact Expedia. Unfortunately Expedia did not have a phone number to call we had to contact them via email. We were very tired , we had a long drive and wanted to check in quickly since we were leaving to finish our drive in several hours. When we finished checking (30 minutes later) we went to get into our room and the key card didn’t work on the rooom we were assigned so my husband had to go back yo the front desk to get another key. She ended up giving us another room than we were originally assigned . Booking online was supposed to make it easier but instead it made everything more complicated.

A good solid option for Northern Indiana travelers
This property is a good choice for most travelers. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The hotel has a better than average breakfast option. If you’re looking for a good overall value, this hotel should fit the bill.

Good value- very good experience
Needed a room for just one night. Comfort Inn/ Mishawaka- South Bend was a good choice. Comfortable, clean, quiet and this property has resurrected the breakfast availability that vanished during the pandemic. If I need to return for another night, I’ll be this option first.

Overall, pretty much as expected except for the attentiveness of the staff as far as getting a toothbrush and a razor, (went to buy one instead) and no accessible guest laundry (listed but was flooded on arrival). The room was clean, though. Overall, not bad.
