The lodge is located at approximately 800 meters above sea level in the charming mountain village of Mitterberg-Sankt Martin in the Enns Valley in Styria, right in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Grimming and Stoderzinken mountain peaks.

In winter, the Schladming-Dachstein region is considered one of the premier winter destinations and forms part of the renowned “4-Berge-Skischaukel,” featuring around 230 kilometers of ski slopes and more than 200 kilometers of cross-country trails. One can enjoy a breathtaking alpine scenery reaching over 2,000 meters in altitude, along with seamless access to the ski areas of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Nearby, the smaller family-friendly Galsterberg ski area offers 13 kilometers of slopes, three fun routes, and an impressive 5-kilometer toboggan run.

During the summer months, the lodge transforms into a peaceful retreat where comfort, tranquility, and spectacular mountain landscapes meet right at your doorstep. The region provides endless outdoor opportunities: from scenic hikes across alpine meadows and mountain peaks to panoramic e-bike and cycling tours, as well as challenging mountain bike trails. Adventure seekers can enjoy activities such as climbing, via ferrata routes, canyoning, and paragliding. For a more relaxed experience, one can unwind at crystal-clear mountain lakes and local public swimming pools, or play a round of golf at the nearby golfcourses. The Planai cable car also quickly takes you up to the Schladming Bike Park, where exciting trails await.

Just a few minutes drive from the lodge you are either in the village of Gröbming or in the lively town of Schladming, both offering several supermarkets, local shops, and a good selection of restaurants. This makes it easy to combine the peace and privacy of the lodge with convenient access to everyday amenities and culinary highlights nearby!
