“Me and my fiancé where staying at Botanic Sanctuary for three nights for our mini honeymoon during mid February.
Upon our arrival to the hotel room I got an overall feeling that it wasn’t really cleaned thoroughly. A couple of minutes later I wanted to grab a cold drink from the mini bar, where I found a opened jar of baby food in it. I immediately called the reception, the receptionist said they where very sorry and would send staff to remove it as soon as possible.

“Lovely hotel in the center of Antwerpen. Walking distance to design quarters (5 min) and to the big shopping street as well. Rooms are well planned with very comfortable bed and lovely linen to the duvet. White Company products in Shower and friendly staff.
Was not impressed by the breakfast. A mix of buffet and order that was fair - but oh the coffee - under all critics, tasted very sour. Also no minibar in the room but a bottle with cleaned tap water.”

The reception is on the top floor, where you find the bar and breakfast area as well. All members of the staff that I talked to were very friendly and helpful. When you check in, you get a code that leads both to your room and to the hotel itself. Cleanliness was great, I opted for them not cleaning my room while I stayed there and I got a 5€ voucher to be spent at the bar. Speaking...

“An oasis in the middle of the city! A pleasure for the senses, nice aromatic smells, the sound of the water in the fountain locating in the courtyard. The rooms are trendy, modern with a warm homy look. The old building is renovating very tastefully. The staff is friendly, competent and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located in the old town, beautiful, charming and lively quarter. Highly recommended!”
