“We booked Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was better than expected. We especially loved the breakfast setup. It had a cozy, home kitchen atmosphere that made us feel like we were in someone’s kitchen.”

“Great breakfast as always. But if you get a room with a connecting door to another room you can hear everything said in the next room. The people next to me were up talking loudly till at least 1 am.”

“The room was clean but staff was not as friendly as expected for a hotel they didn’t even greet you unless you greeted them first.”

“A gem of a place. Clean and well maintained. The desk clerk provided a very good suggestion for dinner which was close but we did not know about. Breakfast was better than at most hotels. We would gladly stay there again.”

“This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside.”

“Hotellet helt ok, rummet och sängarna var bra. Hotellet var ej så välbesökt, fanns ingen frukost som är ett stort minus som svensk bara en frukospåse, kaffe i receptionen. ”

“The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...
