“The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years.”

“That was my second worst experience in staying on Crete for 20 years. Having booked a room with a sea view I was given a small dark room with a window showing a small garden. When I complained that the room did not have sea view the owner said on the phone that if I stepped outside I could sit on a terrace furnished with 5 to 6 tables obviously shared with others and the only way to pass to the reception. Still the owner called it a private space. All other rooms were occupied so I did not stay...
