Milda Annies strandstuga

Beach Cabin, inbäddat under den subtropiska skogen, har utsikt över havet med bara några minuters promenad till stranden. Dess privata, skyddade läge gör det till en fantastisk plats att koppla av och komma bort från allt. Stugorna med öppen planlösning / kök är bekvämt inredda och välutrustade.

Vår 1 000 tunnland stora fastighet ligger i omgivningar där Aotearoa är som det brukade vara - frodig, orörd och naturlig. En del av paradiset. Gentle Annie är ett idealiskt ställe att gå utanför allfarvägen för att uppleva Nya Zeelands otämnade vildmark och verkligen uppskatta South Island's West Coast. Gränsat av Tasmanhavet, den mäktiga floden Mokihinui och den vackra gamla busken, är vårt boende vid havet en lugn plats att koppla av och njuta av tid bort från det livliga livet och ger en bra bas för att utforska vår fantastiska region. Bara 10 km från Old Ghost Road Northern Trailhead i Seddonville!

Gentle Annie är centralt beläget på norra västkusten, nära intressanta platser där dagsutflykter tar dig norrut till de magnifika Oparara kalkstenbågarna, Kahurangi nationalpark, Heaphy Track och söderut till Chasm Creek och Charming Creek Walkways, Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, Denniston Plateau och Cape Foulwind Seal Colony. Vi är på tröskeln till den nya Old Ghost Road mountainbike-bana!

Under alla säsonger kan du njuta av tiden på Gentle Annie. Det kommer att ge din själ näring och väcka dina sinnen.

Week in paradise

We had a fantastic time. The cabin is basic but comfortable. The ocean is a very short walk and we spent a lot of time there. We also hired a hot tub which was delivered to the cabin so we spent the nights looking at the incredible stars.

Lovely cabin

Was a lovely cabin to stay in. So close to the beach and away from the other people. Didn’t have to worry about the dogs making too much noise. Everyone was lovely to deal with. Even let me get a drink and ice cream when they were closing the shop at 6pm. There was a sign in the cabin saying they were open till 8pm might need to update that if the shop closes at 6pm but was a lovely place. Thanks.

Stunning

Just want to say a big thankyou for accommodating us .a peaceful and private setting was all we needed to unwind and wish we had a week there! Beautiful beaches and the Cafe was a stunning place to go get a coffee.even managed to get a feed of whitebait !loved the Locals they are very welcoming .we will back for sure!!

A location like no other

What a privilege to spend time in such an unspoilt natural environment yet have complete comfort. Great if like us you love wild NZ but are not campers. The house is warm (good heating) and full of character. Private except for cheeky weka in the garden, sounds of the sea and birds. Magic.

Best accommondation ever. It was so so nice there! We really enjoyed it there from the first moment on! It is in such a good place, directly on the beach where you are all by your own most of the time. And its very quite there. It has a very nice garden and the house is in such a good state and really well maintained. Its very comfort with all the nice wood and all the windows. Its very bright. The people on the campingground, which is a 10 minute walk away from the house, are very friendly. First we were in a little shock because the fridge in the kitchen is very small. But there is a second big one in another room, behind the house. We didnt see the note at the fridge AT first. In this extra room is also a washing machine. The kitchen has everything you needed, there is also a Weber Grill outside. The bathroom is a little bit small and a little old. But it was ok! The sofas in the livingroom are not that comfortable, but are okay. But the beds are comfortable! From the bedrooms and the livingroom out you have a really great view at the garden and the beach! Everything was very clean! It was awesome there!

Had all we needed…

Very easy area to play safely with our dog Suki. Great to have hooks to hang things on, bug screens on the windows and a composting bucket, those small things that are often missing. The view from the kitchen and bathrooms are also lovely.

Best place for a wedding!

We had an awesome 4 days at the Beach Cabin along with our 2 dogs. We loved the Bach, the wood floor was great for the dogs, plenty of hot water in the shower and a good gas fired heater. Make sure you hire one of the hot tubs and enjoy the amazing sunsets. We were married on the beach so a pretty special place for us, we will definitely be back!!

Amazing again

This was my second stay at Gentle Annie's, just a different cabin. Again it was amazing. A cozy cabin, great location, beach, bush, birdlife. Just loved everything about it. <3

Beauitiful location next to the sea. Very private with only the sound of the sea and the wekas in the garden. Simple but comfortable accomodation. Clear direction and easy communication with owners. Would like to stay again.

Paradise!

This place is idyllic - low key kiwi bach in amazing location. Very clean and simple bach which we adored. Extremely friendly hosts in nearby cafe with delicious home baking and great coffee! West Coast landscapes are stunning.
