Everything about this place was PERFECT! we had the most beautiful room, the surroundings were perfect for a nice walk, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so friendly!
There is no doubt in our minds we'll be going back here.
PS. Note that this B&B is located in Wilmington, VT and not in Brattleboro like our GPS tried to lead us to. It was pure luck we found it.â

âGood location next to a creek in charming little Wilmington. But rooms are very small and basic. No glas, no bed table or bed lamp. Had to ask the downstair restaurant for WiFi access - but it didnât reach up to the rooms.
The downstairs restaurant seemed really nice but we came on a Sunday so there were no live music and it closed at 9 pm.
Without breakfast included it wasnât the best deal for us. â
âThis is such a charming, historic New England bed and breakfast. The quintessential Vermont experience right in the heart of the quaint village of West Dover. The Innkeeper knows all the people & places around. Homemade breakfast options are delicious, I had the local blueerry waffles. The Blueberry Festival parade passed right in front of the inn. I drank the Inn's coffee in the morning outside on their lawn, on one of the oversized stone seats around the firepit. There are books on the shelves...

âI love staying at the Mountaineer. I stay there every time I go to Vermont. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is very easy good location, central to many restaurants and other amenities. Very nice coffee bar beautiful pool for swimming. great atmosphere. Love the easy check-inprocess. Everything is digital no keys to worry about.â
âThis Viking Village is fantastic. There is so much eye for details, you really enter a different world. We had a great time there and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need, and is very comfortable. The guide inside the house with tips and suggestions for visiting and eating/drinking in the area is very comprehensive and helpful.
