We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. “We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. “It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults.
Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked.
The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door)
We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink.

“Charlotte and Sean provided us with a great start to our trip to visit family throughout the West of Ireland. They were very welcoming and their B&B was a perfect location just outside of Carrick town center. Our room was warm and cozy. We also really enjoyed our breakfast each morning.
