Lovely cottage and stunning location, and some disappointment
Everything about this cottage was stellar, the views, the amenities, the location. We were disappointed at the surrounding property has been impacted by drought or other neglect, so the vineyards were dead, and the olive trees under stress. The club and pool were never promised, but we hoped they might be available to us. Ocean access was via a rough path and very limited. Overall, I highly recommend this listing, but encourage transparency about the current conditions.

Vineyards and olive trees lay in pitiful conditions because during the covid and in recent years it has become almost impossible to find adequate and competent work force for agriculture. Nevertheless we have just initiated a programme to try and restore beauty and health of vineyards and olive trees and are sure that beginning with the next season our clients will be able to enjoy their holidays in the cottages of Capo d’Uomo surrounded by a well kept landscape. Wonderful setting with picture perfect views
The property is in a very quiet setting, which was perfect for us, with a superb outdoor area for sitting, eating, and enjoying the Tuscan sunsets. The indoors were great; modern, well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay, it was a pity that it wasn’t longer. Bug repellent is highly recommended!

Monte Argentario Dream
Overall this is such an amazing property and we feel lucky to have stayed here. There was some miscommunication with the check-in process, our email stated we should meet at the winery at 4pm but when we called, they told us check-in wasn't until 5pm. Ultimately, they were very accommodating and rushed to meet us and get us inside since we were traveling with our baby. Hopefully instructions can be updated for the next guests. The house itself and surrounding property is truly unparalleled, the view is uninterrupted and you are able to relax with the sound of the sea below. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and is decorated very tastefully. We also loved the 'locals' - friendly cats who live on the property! I would highly recommend a small car as the roads are quite narrow and the turns to get down to the house are very tight. Definitely spend a day at the beach club on property, an unforgettable time!

la casa e’ in una proprietà molto bella che comprende viti e olivi, e’ comoda e confortevole, la vista e’ splendida c’è’ una discesa privata a mare che però e’ problematica per persone non giovani, ma la proprietà ha un accordo per l’accesso al mare con ombrellone e sdraio alla Marina di calapiatti uno stabilimento ottimo a pochi minuti di distanza con un buon ristorante un mare bellissimo e personale molto gentile, in sintesi molto bello

I almost don’t want to write a glowing review because I don’t want the secret to get out about this place. It’s perfect. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle and noise of crowded beach vacation spots, this is the place for you. The view was incredible, the cottage so clean and comfortable, and though it felt remote it was still close enough to everything. I hope to visit again next year.

Wunderbar
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in einer ganz besonderen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön. Sehr ruhig, tolle Terrasse, wunderbarer Blick auf das Meer. Unsere Jungs hatten viel Spaß beim Springen von den Klippen am eigenen Meerzugang, wo wir fast immer ganz alleine waren. Mariagrazia war sehr nett, allerdings nicht darüber informiert, dass wir mit Kindern anreisen. Insgesamt eine wirklich ganz besondere Unterkunft, wenn man die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Capo d'Uomo: mare, natura, emozioni...
Non conoscevamo l'Argentario e mai avremmo pensato di trovare un mare così vero, limpido e vivo. Ma soprattutto soggiornando ai poderi di Capo d'Uomo abbiamo avuto la possibilità di viverlo in assoluta tranquillità e riservatezza, immersi tra vigne e uliveti, con un mare che ti abbraccia. Sempre. Vedere i delfini seduti sul divano del porticato è un'emozione che non ti puoi aspettare. Passi il tempo nella speranza che si ripeta. La passeggiata che ti porta al mare a tratti stanca le gambe, ma esalta i sensi, per terminare in un angolo di blu che ruba l'ultimo respiro. Profondo, immenso. Tutto tuo. Il sogno comprende anche un ombrellone nella splendida Cala Piccola dove i pesci sono li' ad aspettarti per una nuotata insieme a te. Lasciati guidare. Consiglio: prima di svegliarti passa al ristorante di Giampiero, almeno per un dolce. Esperienza da riprovare. Tutto.

Seaside cottage extraordinarie!
From beginning to end Camille communicated responsively to all of our questions and requests. We were greeted by Maria who provided an excellent introduction to Lentisk. We were charmed immediately by the amenities and quaintness of the cottage. The views, comforts, and proximity to Porto Stefano are primo. Our wine tasting was fun with Ilio as he engaged with us and our desire to learn Italian and more about their wines. The olive oil has proven to be our favorite of all that we have tasted in Tuscany. We look forward to ordering vino from them! Anyone who is a guest of Lentisk will be so happy with their decision to holiday there!

Pictures are not enough
The online pictures do not do this place justice. The views and location are absolutely amazing. The house is more comfortable than I expected and everything seems fairly new. But the reason you would stay here is to get away from the crowds elsewhere in Monte Argentario and have this stunning seaside view all to yourself. The private sea access is also incredible - there is a rock to jump off into deep water and you'll have the place to yourself. Set among grapevines and olive trees, what else do you need. With all the isolation, however, is a bit of a challenge getting here although after successfully getting to the property once it was easy. The roads are very narrow though. Our visit could have been improved if we would have been told to follow the signs to the Capa D'Uomo cantina and turning right to pass through the green gate before you get there (you'll have to get buzzed through with Camilla's name). At the T in the road, you drive right to go down to the private beach club (also amazing) by driving past an old "do not enter sign" and drive left to a white gate that you can pass through after you have the clicker you've picked up from check in at the cantina. Anyway, a small price to pay for a chance to stay at this beautiful property!

Ankommen und sich entspannt fühlen, abschalten - gelingt von der ersten Minute an. Perfekt für Erholung und Entspannung, abgelegen, jedoch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht wird sie dort finden. Wundervolle Aussicht, perfekte Sonnenuntergänge. Absolut sauberes Cottage Dank Maria - Grazia - perfekt. Wir würden unsere Ferien wieder dort verbringen.

Fantastisk plass - god service
Vi har hatt 2 flotte dager her på Poderi di Capo d’uomo. Ferien starta litt dårlig, med at vi ikkje fikk ut leiebilen vår i Roma. Men når vi først var komt oss fram hit - gjorde Maria Grazia det hun kunne for å gjøre oppholdet så godt som mulig! Ho kjørte oss inn til Porto Santo Stefano slik at vi fikk handle . Tusen takk Maria Grazia! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit en gang - men da med leiebil!

Fantastic location if you want peace and quiet. Lovely cottage with great amenities and scrupulously clean. We were left a lovely welcome pack of the vineyard wine (beautiful) plus some essentials. The views and outside living areas are spectacular. Stefano and Maria are lovely and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property but suggest a small hire car to navigate the local roads (ours was far too big) and brush up on your Italian.

If you like waterfront and mountains-look no farther. Beautiful Mediterranean style house is a place you can relax and at the same time enjoy water on the wonderful Tyrrhenian sea. Great wine tour at the location with Marco, great owner and many restaurants and shopping activities at the nearby town San-Stefano..

Das Haus liegt wunderschön ruhig und idyllisch direkt über dem Meer. Man hört nichts außer den Wellen des Meeres, dem Wind und den Vögeln. Ein Ort zum Erholen, Entspannen und Genießen. Das Haus mit der großartigen Terrassse ist wunderschön und sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank.

Beautiful, beautiful views!
We had a really great time staying here, the views are absolutely stunning. It was so dreamy to wake up there every morning and have have breakfast looking out over the bay. Perfect too for watching a stunning sunset and the stars at night will take your breath away (just make sure you have some bug spray!). The cottage was very comfortable, the mattress was good and so slept well all week. It did lack a few things in the kitchen such as spoons (only had teaspoons, forks and knives for some reason). We purchased a tea towel and a sponge for cleaning up as they were absent too but they were just little things that were easy to purchase for our stay. Check in was easy and friendly. I would recommend a small‘ish size car if visiting as navagating your way up and down from the property is not for the faint of heart. We would have really appreciated some sort of welcome/information folder that you usually receive with holiday lets as we had no idea what to do with the bins or where to find things mentioned such as the walks in the area and steps down to the bay, so perhaps this could be considered for future guests. It’s a great place overall and I would highly recommend staying here if visiting the area!

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Stille und Natur pur. Wer sich erholen will und von der Umwelt eine Auszeit nehmen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Andererseits ist man schnell auch wieder in den schönen Dörfer Italiens. Die Einrichtung ist modern und alles ist top sauber. Wir lieben es und würden jederzeit wieder dahin. Our visit was perfect. We were welcomed with open arms and had a terrific stay. Communication was easy and timely, accomidations were excellent, and the hospitality was wonderful. Paradies mit Meerblick
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Monte Argentario sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und besonders die Terasse mit Meerblick ist ein Traum. Es ist absolut ruhig und man kann sich wirklich erholen. Wer vorübergehend etwas mehr Trubel haben möchte, fährt "über den Berg" an den Hafen. Der Vor-Ort-Kontakt mit Mariagrazia und Stefano war sehr nett und herzlich. Zur Begrüßung gab es Wein vom eigenen Gut, den wir sehr genossen haben. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft 100% empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder. Mille grazie!
