Mormors hus: Floden, fantastisk utsikt, strand / simning / kanot Hundvänligt

  • Ligger på historisk flodstrand, tidigare känd som Angelos Sandy Beach Resort, nu känd som mormors hus, vackra redwoods, sol och nöje vid floden, närhet till kusten och vinlandet och känslan av att vara långt borta från staden. Det finns en prisbelönt 9-håls golfbana i närheten, redwood parker för vandring och många fina Sonoma län vingårdar och restauranger i närheten, men det finns verkligen ingen anledning att lämna! Mormor har sju stora rum inklusive ett spelrum. Tre sovrum har King-sängar, en queen size-säng och en bäddsoffa i spelrummet, 4 badrum (badrum). Grunderna inkluderar 1. 25 tunnland gräsmatta, trädgård, redwoods och två separata strandområden. Ett stort däck med två nivåer sveper runt baksidan av huset med utsikt över floden. Andra bekvämligheter inkluderar ett biljardbord, standup videospillspel med 10+ favoriter som pac-man, galaga, rymdbrytare froskare mm, en garderob full med brädspel, video- och bokväggsbibliotek, ett piano, dragspel, tamborin etc för musikaliskt lutande, en sten spis (ved skjul lager)., och enorm badtunna för din njutning. En kanot, två kajaker, paddling och många vattenleksaker lagrade i ett rum på lägre nivå under huset är redo för en rolig sommardag på floden.

    Sovarrangemang:
    Två sovrum har vardera en kungssäng i Kalifornien och en bäddsoffa. Dessa två rum har utsikt över floden och tillgång till huvuddäck. Två rum på trädgårdssidan av huset har pentry. Dessa två rum har egna privata däck intill trädgården. Alla rum har egna tv-apparater och privata ingångar till sina rum. Dessutom innehåller spelrummet en soffa / futon.

    Det rymliga köket är fullt utrustat med de flesta alla köksredskap som kan tänkas för att förbereda läckra hemlagade måltider som farmor brukade göra! Den charmiga inredningen påminner om din mormors hus, med handgjorda täcken, Bluewillow porslin, etc. Vardagsområdet påminner dig om farfar jaktstuga.

    Huset ligger i ett lugnt område men på gångavstånd till några butiker och restauranger i Monte Rio. Staden Guerneville ligger 8 km bort. Det finns en prisbelönt 9-håls golfbana i närheten, redwood park för vandring och många fina Sonoma län vingårdar i närheten. Floden möter havet cirka 10 mil bort i staden Jenner.

    Ta en kajak direkt från din egen brygga och koppla sedan av i badtunnan senare på kvällen. Eller smutta på ett glas vin på däck och titta på floden gå förbi. Kom och bli bortskämd på mormors hus!

Our family loves coming here. House has plenty of room for all of our family. Wonderful private beach just down a few steps. The views from the home and deck all look out at the river. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. This I believe is our fifth time there. Hope to continue going.

My family of seven adults, one toddler and two dogs, had a Fabulous time at Grandma’s House. The home is even better than the photos, the grounds are beautiful and being on the River was incredible! We felt we were in Paradise!

Grandma's House is a terrific house with a layout that allows older kids or families separate private spaces (hello bathroom in each bedroom) with nice shared spaces for hanging out. Steve was a great communicator and super kind to come over and unlock a door we mistakenly locked. We will be back!

Had an amazing time!

This was our second time staying at Grandma’s house and we loved staying there! It is great for large families with a lot of stuff to do for everyone! We will definitely stay there again!

Family get together

The accommodations were good for all ,great kitchen, good river access. Outside furniture and equipment could use a little TLC but useful and we enjoyed are stay, would stay again

Memorable visit

Great location, comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool table, the arcade machine and the musical instruments. Shannon, the caretaker, was great.

As though you have an inn all to yourselves!

Spent a great Christmas holiday in Grandma’s House with our family. Plenty of space for 4 couples, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. Easy stroll to the Boho Manor for cocktails around their fire pit. We had a great time!

Great experience

The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed watching people paddle down the river, adding to the charm of the place. I highly recommend this location to everyone I know—book your stay now!

Best family vacation

We go to the Russian River a lot and this would be one of the best places that we have stayed at. The location could not be better and the space provided fit our family perfectly. The highlight I would have say was the rope swing that was across the river on the other side.

Grandma’s House is a lovely facility. Good separation of bedrooms from common spaces. Also, each of the four bedrooms is large, well equipped, and has a private bathroom. The house location could not be better! We spent a lot of time on the private beach and dock. Our children enjoyed playing in the water and befriending the local ducks. We would definitely stay here again.

Grandma hosting her family for Thanksgiving

Stunning property! Kitchen extremely organized and complete with all items needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. Steve had cleared the property of rain debris and managed to coax the sun into a full glorious display.

Wonderful stay at Grandma's House. Host was great at communicating promptly, check in easy, great location on river with lots of amenities. Plenty of inside and outside space to be together or separate. Kitchen was stocked with amazing assortment of pans, and spices. Pool table, piano and arcade game was icing on the cake. Some things need looking into for repairs like fridge bins, some windows and doors don't slide well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Creating memories at Grandmas house

This is our third stay at grandmas house. We love the property, easy access to the water, and amenities of the home. Truly all the comforts of home in a rental fit for family gatherings! Plenty of space for a group, but the rooms provide privacy as well. Host was highly responsive, helpful, and made our stay an enjoyable one. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

This place is so welcoming and fun. We loved the river access with a rope swing right across the river. The home is spacious and fun, and the outdoor areas are wonderful. Stephen was so helpful with everything. The house is full of local history and quirky in a good way! It's a wonderful place for a peaceful retreat or a fun silly weekend. We did both in the same week, with friends and family rotating through for visits on the lawn and dinners on the porch.

Great time

We all had more than enough room. Everything was so nice. Lots of kitchenware, spices and condiments. Kids enjoyed the canoes and blow ups. The rope swing across the river was enjoyed by my grandkids and parents. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning was so beautiful and quiet. We’ll be back

Summer fun on the river

We (two families with older children) had a wonderful time at Grandma's. The place is laid out very nicely to accommodate two families, the kitchen is big and well-equipped, and the grounds are beautiful. The location right on the river is superb. The kids loved the rope swing on the opposite shore and everyone enjoyed the various watercraft. The only issue we had was that the beds could be made more comfortable with an upgrade of at least new mattress protectors (they are lumpy) and a variety of pillows (we needed thinner ones). We are hoping to come back and can definitely recommend this place for a summer getaway.

We spent 3 days on the property. The location is excellent with easy access to the river for both people and 2 dogs. We spent a lot of time on the river swimming and kayaking. The property has large bedrooms and is clean. Please note that the property has a lot of miles on it. Many things need maintenance such a leaky toilets, ceiling fan that doesn't work, kitchen appliances in need of replacement, and beat up outdoor furniture. The location is great for time on the river so you'll have to weigh out what really matters to you.
