“Just camp somewhere, you will be better off. Staying here was disgusting, the ceiling was peeling off, the bathroom had little animals coming out of drainage. Bedroom sheets were staying not to mention the horrible smell of the room. This is not a 3 start hotel if you will even call it that. Stay away and save your money.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Dunes Inn, convenient for our visit to Great Sand Dunes National Park and an easy walk to a number of restaurants downtown Alamosa. Cooked to order breakfast included was very good. Only downside was that mattress was not very comfortable (but that’s a personal preference). Staff was very friendly”

“The room we got was really gross, there was literally a booger on the bed frame and the comforter had white stains all over it, our room also didn’t have the fold over lock, it was snapped off. We asked to switch rooms, which we were told we couldn’t until the next day because they were completely booked. “I wish I could give more than 3 stars to this property because I do think the staff are doing the best they can. The beds were clean, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and anytime we needed help the staff were great. The hotel needs quite a few upgrades: -the pool “waterpark” doesn’t have a functioning hot tub or slide, it’s just a pool (although it’s very warm which we loved). -the furniture in the game area needs replaced as well as others around the hotel. “The man that checked us in was unbelievably rude. The carpet in our room was very dirty. The sheets and pillow cases were old and stained. The area where breakfast was to be served was dirty so we skipped the free breakfast.”
