Vacker lägenhet med "charm", mycket romantisk, gammalt hem för ägarens farfarfar, notarius av Montepulciano. Nyligen totalrenoverad, väldigt tyst, i en magnifik position: i den historiska stadskärnan, men med utsikt över stadsmuren i en dominerande position. Två härligt fint möblerade sovrum; båda med parkettgolv, vackra fresketak från 1800-talet och en magnifik panorama över hela Valdichiana och Trasimeno-sjön. Ljust vardagsrum med takbjälkar, elektriskt takfönster och terrakottagolv.
Fullt utrustat kök. Bricka. Badrum med dusch / bubbelpool och ångbastu. LCD-TV. Gratis WiFi. Luftkonditionering. Autonom uppvärmning. 4 sovplatser (1 dubbelsäng + 2 enkelsängar sida vid sida) +2 (1 bäddsoffa och 1 fåtöljssäng). Kan användas året runt.
OBS: Huset och gatan nedan, för sina särskilt scenografiska egenskaper, har använts för att spela in några scener i filmen "NEW MOON" (uppföljare till "TWILIGHT") och, nyligen, för att filma TV-filmen "I MEDICI", med Dustin Hoffman och Richard Madden (nästan helt skott i Montepulciano och Pienza)

We really enjoyed the traditional interior of the apartment and excellent location of the property. A charming spot to immerse yourself in small village living while traveling through Tuscany. A good value as well.

This is a well located property and the property owner was a pleasure to work with, flexible and accommodating. Two flights of steep stairs to get to the apartment helped our cardio exercise but should be noted. I can’t honestly say whether this was described in the listing. Parking was not fun but that is pretty much true anywhere you go in Italy. The food in the area was great! Osteria Porta di Bacco and Ristorante Le Lodge del Viggola were outstanding. The cafe right across the street had wonderful pastries and coffee. The staff got to know us which was fun. They also prepare Negronis for your evening enjoyment. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated.

This is a very large and nicely decorated apartment in a great location. Very close to everything you need or want: restaurants, shopping, historic sites, etc.

A wonderful break from a hectic trip

We were half way through a six week trip and exhausted from Roman sites and weather. This place was a wonderful, comfortable, clean, spacious, welcoming oasis to recover for the next phase of the trip. Walking the city in the morning and evening was leisurely and uncrowded with amazing views.

Heart of Montepulciano home.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was conveniently located for parking and taking your luggage. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very clean and was a great weekend. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend staying here.

Perfect location, nice host, beware stairs and parking difficulties

We stayed here for 8 days. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped (washing machine a big plus). Location ideal for Montepulciano. Parking can cost approximately 20 euros per day and it was always a challenge to find parking in the P1 lot. Then a short walk uphill to apartment and the another 2.5 stories of steps to the apartment. Grocery is close by (5-10 minute walk). Host was always very resonsive and a delight to deal with. Overall a very good stay.

Tuscan Charm

We loved the location of this beautiful apartment right in the heart of Montepulciano with restaurants, bakeries and shops just steps away. The view from the bedroom windows is amazing. Fernanda was in communication and suggested wonderful restaurants.

Every day is leg day...

Great location inside the walls of Montelpuciano. Town was uphill from the apartment. Fernanda was very quick to reply on What's App and had a great bottle of wine waiting for us. The closest parking lot was always full during the day but was still able to park in the free white parking spots as long as we came back after 4:30ish.

Beautiful Town and Home

I love staying at this property! Everything I needed was right there and easily accessible. Plenty to do right in the town itself, and all sorts of other activities outside the historic city itself. The host was wonderful and quick to respond if I had a question. I hope to come back soon!

Everything was perfect!!

Everything was perfect with our stay in the beautiful, immaculate home of Fernanda!! We were soo happy when we arrived and walked in to the most beautifully decorated apartment in the most perfect location!!! We couldn’t believe how absolutely perfect everything was for our entire stay of 10 days!! We had everything we needed and Fernanda was always there if we needed to ask any questions!! Charming stay in a charming town

We were given clear directions to find the apartment and we were met at the door. The apartment did not disappoint. It was clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable. The location was perfect, 1/2 a block from the main road. We so enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

Great place to stay while in Tuscany

We enjoyed our week's stay in this spacious, comfortable apartment. Excellent location for exploring Tuscany. It was well equipped for cooking dinners in the apartment when we were too tired to eat out at one of many great restaurants in Montepulciano. Hope to return to Fernanda's house very soon.

Superbe vacances à Montepulciano

Appartement très bien situé dans le village proche du parking. Emplacement calme, loin de la rue commerçante et aucun bruit, nos enfants ont pu bien dormir. Appartement propre et accueillant, lumineux, rien ne manque, très confortable. A noter cependant que les lits enfants sont hauts mais cela est visible sur les photos de l'annonce. Le canapé lit est une place. Fernanda nous a réservé un très bon accueil. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour.

Beautiful old world charm!

Fernanda's home was exactly what we were looking for and more. It had old world Italian charm with the beautifully painted ceiling in the bedroom and the curtains around the bed. It was stunning when the sun came shining through in the mornings. We loved the exposed beams and brick throughout the ceilings. The bed was very comfortable, the place was very clean and immaculately decorated. The bathroom was large which was nice to spread out our things. It was nice having a dining room table to sit down and write in our travel journal at the end of the day. She gave clear instructions on how to get to her home so take that off your worry list. Mrs. Maria met us there (later than we expected) to show us around the place which was nice. It was one of our favorite places to stay on this trip and we would definitely return here without a second thought! Fernanda was responsive and we can't thank her enough for letting us stay in her home!
