“The hotel is located in the Old City. Close to Rambla and Sarandí, pedestrian street and Ave 18 de Julio. The staff was very helpful. The room was large with comfortable beds, kitchen area but only w kettle and fridge. Ask for a room with oceanview. Not that many restaurants in the area. “The rooms are a little run down but okay. The gym is okay, could use a fresh up with new machines, but they have a small track indoors and they have classes for different work outs. The hotel is on a square thats is rather busy with bad people at night which makes it less nice to go out. The restaurant on the top floor has excellent food with very nice staff.”

“We stayed 2 nights at Pocitos Plaza Hotel and enjoyed it. It is close to the beach on the eastern side of Montevideo and in a calm area. The reception was really helpful, with a lot of information regarding how to travel around the city. The room was comfortable with a nice bed and with the possibility to see the sea in the far distance. It was also easy to get from the hotel to either the city center or the bus station (tres cruses) as the bus stop was just outside the hotel. A bit limited...
