“Really nice typical British pub/inn, definitely on the posh side. Checking in was easy and smooth, the staff was super friendly and also booked us a table in the restaurant. Room was clean and comfy, had everything you need. The restaurant was good, typical British food and good service.”

“We loved the little window in our rooftop room and food was generous portions, fresh and well presented. All staff were chatty and helpful. The windows of parts of building could do with up dating but didnt effect our stay. We would happily return .”

“The hotel was lovely, Clean, warm and friendly. I ate in one evening and the food was excellent. Served promptly, hot and plentiful. My experience with the hotel was very good but my experience with hotels.com not good at all. I booked a pay on arrival at the hotel but 3 days beforehand the fee was taken from my bank account to pay a hotel with the same name, but 250 miles away. “The property was clean, smelled lovely, nicely decorated. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and big. Good shower. Coffee and tea facilities with easy instructions. Easy access to local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and local walks. Breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend staying here. ”
