Magical 5 Bdrm/3.5 Bath Lakehouse is nested less than 1 min away from the famous Swinging Bridge Marina. Sleeps 18 guests! Our home consists of 2 sunbathing decks, gas & wood firepit, seasonal boat dock & game room. Enjoy toasting marshmallows on our fire-pit, or watching the sunset on our decks. Our property is in close proximity to Bethel Woods(20 min), Monticello Raceway(10 min), Resorts World Casino(20 min) LegoLand(40 min) Kartrite WaterPark(20 min) Manhattan (90 min) & Swing Bridge Marina(1 min). Bring your boat or rent one here!

The Ultimate Guest Experience! This professionally designed 4,100 sqft lake-dwelling consists of many amenities including a 50's themed Johnny Rocket's style game room. This game room has many vintage games including Pacman, Street Fighter 2, etc (some vintage games used for display purposes only).

This house was carefully curated by our professional designing team, and maintained by the most reputable cleaning company, abiding by all Covid-19 restrictions and protocol to ensure that our guests have the most comfortable and safest stay.

We offer 3 paved parking spots right in front of our home and 3 additional street parking spots alongside our fence (6 Parking Spots Total). Please do not park in our neighbors driveway Guests without cars can also use public transportation such as the Shorline Bus or Port Jervis station (30 mins from out home). We also recommend visiting our local eateries i.e. Yanni's Gyro, Ciao Bella, Swing Bridge Marina Cafe and 11 high end restaurants at Resorts World Casino.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES (OPTIONAL):
HOT TUB CHARGE: there is an extra $250 charge for hot tub usage. This is to set up and clean the hot tub after you leave due to new Covid cleaning protocol. To reserve please let us know 14 days in advance and payment to be made via Ven mo, cash app, or zell.

PET FEE CHARGE: there is an extra $250 charge for a dog. All pets requests must go through us for approval as we will only allow potty-trained dogs, that do not shed.

Great spot for a getaway

Great house right on the water. Beautiful view of the lake. Many bedrooms that comfortably fit 7 adults and 1 child. The host is great, and very communicative in case you need anything. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing Getaway

The house is exactly as pictured. The game room downstairs was wonderful for the kids aged 9-16. They were occupied and weren't in the adult space. The 5 of them easily fit in that one downstairs bedroom as well. There's not a lot to do in the Monticello area but if you're looking for a quiet lake vacation, it's perfect!

Great location but poorly maintained

I am going to echo a lot of what other reviews say. The property itself is great, fantastic sunsets, beautiful reservoir and overall great area. The house itself though just had a lot of little things. The pool table only has one stick that works, the pantry and one bedroom door doesn’t open right, the bathrooms had no hand towels in any of them, decking coming apart on the path ect. The worst was the hot tub, very dirty and yellow water. It’s even more frustrating when you pay extra for it and don’t even get to use it.

Family reunion disappointment July 2023

As most reviews say, the setting is beautiful and you can tell that when the homeowners renovated the house they had a vision with good intentions. However, as time has passed it is time for this house to receive some serious TLC! I’m not going to write everything that was wrong with the house because their was to many to list here and truthfully the homeowners seem very nice and did respond to all my texts in a timely fashion. They also compensated me financially for some of the major inconveniences we experienced during our stay and that was fair. Instead I would like to suggest some things that would make this house more efficient and enjoyable. You need a bigger refrigerator or an additional one to accommodate 10 or more people. You need dressers in every room so your not living out of a suitcase on the floor. You need to invest in a new dock and a ladder would be a nice touch for easier access in and out of the lake. Central air conditioning is a must! Three bedrooms are without air conditioning. Finally I would say to the homeowner if your are interested in the long list feel free to call or email me and I would be happy to help you out! Mark

Unique & Fun House w/Great View

Convenient to Bethel Woods (went to 2 concerts!) and lots of room for all 7 of us to hang out and relax together, cook and enjoy the view (pretty sunsets & eagles!) Clearly this is a well-loved home and it shows in the unique, comfortable decor. JD is a VERY pleasant, accomodating and responsive host, which was greatly appreciated.

Wedding ready house!

We had a good time here everything was decorated nicely and I loved the space! Sadly The deck on the water was sunken in when we got there and there was a bit of cleanup needed by the water edge. But all went well it’s a fun house and I would definitely stay again!

Incredible view, house doesn't live up to expectations

If you are simply looking for an incredible view and peaceful place, this is the one! Unfortunately, there were many other things that were lacking. My family and I had a wonderful time, despite the issues with the house, and it was very difficult to pull myself away from the view of the beautiful 9 mile lake! I love the location on the lake, it is peaceful and was very private because there was nobody using the house next door. If you want to rent a boat, the marina is literally in walking distance. If you plan to dock your boat at the house like in the pictures that will not be possible, at least not during the off season. We were unaware that the dock pictured would not be there. It had a tiny floating dock and I guess the other section is added for the summer season. The living area is very large and there is plenty of space for family and friends to gather and sleep. I love the open floor plan and the additional space in the lower level. I could sit on the back deck and stare at the lake for hours. My husband enjoyed fishing off the small dock and even caught a fish. My family utilized the kayaks on a beautiful day and enjoyed being out on the gorgeous lake. Unfortunately, there were several issues we had with the house. The pantry door was broken. The Keurig was broken. The blue room bed had broken slats, so it sunk in the middle. The lower level bathroom toilet had a cracked base. There were many items in the lower level game room that were "for display only." This was not in the description and we assumed that the juke box, air hockey, Pacman, and slot machine would all be in working condition...they are not. The master toilet was running, causing the well to dry up and we had no water by the end of the night. There was a patch in the living room ceiling that began to leak when it started to rain. There was a broken dining room chair and the outside furniture was pretty terrible. The firepit is completely unusable because of the slope in the yard. I paid for the hot tub in advance and they didn't realize I had paid, sent their handyman out to set it up and it never got over 85 degrees. We were never able to use it, but they did refund our money. This house has so much potential, but it needs some TLC and clarification in the description of the house. I think that a summer rental will be much more worth the stay because you will be able to use the lake so much more and not focus on the things the house is lacking.

Even more beautiful in person!

JD responded to my numerous emails prior to my stay. He even helped me find a taxi service to/from the casino. He responded promptly day and night with any questions I had during the stay as well! Highly recommend! The property is beautiful and we hope to return soon!
