Uppdaterat historiskt hem med bra lÀge

Denna B & B ligger tvÀrs över gatan frÄn det historiska tÄget som gÄr varje helg pÄ sommaren och ett kvarter frÄn shopping och restauranger i centrum. Vi Àr 20 minuter frÄn Champaign och 25 minuter frÄn Decatur. Du kommer att Àlska de bekvÀma sÀngarna, de mysiga vardagsrummen och den praktiska tillgÄngen. Det Àr historiskt och charmigt, men helt bekvÀmt och uppdaterat för din bekvÀmlighet. Vi Àr bra för familjer med barn, stora grupper och företagens retreats.

Huset har fyra privata sovrum och en bÀddsoffa. Vi kan ocksÄ lÀgga till en luftmadrass eller spjÀlsÀng till vilket rum som helst. Rummen har en sÀng, bekvÀma stolar, en 32-tums tv och en takflÀkt. Det finns tvÄ badrum delade bland alla rummen.

The Zybell House ligger ett kvarter nordost om historiska downtown Monticello. Det finns flera restauranger, barer och affÀrer inom 5 minuters promenad. Vi ligger ocksÄ tvÀrs över gatan frÄn det historiska tÄgdepotet och mindre Àn 10 minuter frÄn Allerton Park och Retreat Center.

Gata parkering och off-street kommunala parkeringsplatser ligger norr och vÀster om Zybell House. BÄda parkeringsalternativen Àr gratis.

Clean House

The host was very accommodating with our late check out. The first impression of the house not the best, as the yard needed mowed and the outside could have been cleaned up a bit, but the inside of the house was very nice, and everything was spotless. Overall was a good experience.

Best place to stay for a wedding

Me and my now husband rented this place to have our wedding parties and us to stay and it worked out perfectly! There was plenty of room and beds, I don't think anyone had to sleep on a couch, and it was also just super nice! Thank you for the stay!-Ames and Riley Turner

Perfect graduation stay

House was Pristine fully stocked with everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Plenty of space to comfortably host 8 guests of different ages. Only 20 minutes to U of I. Owner was extremely accommodating.

Perfect Family Gathering Place

Thank you Samantha for making our stay at Zybell House the perfect place for our Spring Break visit. From the extras like two pack and plays, a high chair, baby gates and kid table to the variety of kitchen items and the coffee bar, Zybell House is a great place for any group or family. The location is terrific for kids and adults with Nick's Park just down the street and downtown a block away. It was my first stay back in Monticello in about 25 years and I loved every minute.

Beautiful home

This house was perfect for our small family gathering. The playroom was a hit with three kids under the age of 6. We found everything we needed to host a small graduation party and there was lots of space. The house is very beautifully decorated.

Great stay for Graduation weekend!

We stayed at the Zybell House for Graduation weekend for the University of Illinois in Urbana. The house had nice amenities for a large family group and an easy drive to the university. This was so much more convenient and nicer than staying in a hotel. The house was stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen pots/etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A nice weekend away

House was great for our weekend getaway with friends. Had everything we could have asked for except a washer and dryer. We were boating for the weekend at Clinton Lake and would have helped with our wet towels and suits but otherwise the owners were great to work with. Would definitely go back!

Great for groups

We had three families and multiple kids and everyone had a great time. Owner was great with communication when we had questions about some features in the house. Wish we would’ve seen the baby gate under a bed earlier into our stay!

Zybell House was everything we wanted and needed

It was beautiful outside, even more so with all the snow that had recently fallen. Inside was cozy, charming and spacious. It was warm and comfortable and everyone from the 8 month old to the 75 year old in our party was comfortable. Samantha did a wonderful job supplying us with coffee, snacks and all the towels and pillows we could want. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept very well, even the baby. The location is wonderful. We walked to the convenience store, restaurant and brewery and there was a beautiful park to visit on the way home. There was only one problem - we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. We have family in Monticello and will definitely be staying at the Zybell house the next time we go. We highly recommend it.

Charming place, well-appointed venue for group party and overnight stay

I'm so glad we found Zybell House and Samantha! This place was decorated just perfectly and so homey. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The process was so simple, too! We had my 50th birthday party for 25 people and then 9 of us slept over. Our favorite part was the bright kitchen/sun room. Just gorgeous! A friend who does many VRBO rentals said this was the best stocked rental- we wanted for nothing. The snacks in the dining room were a nice touch. I'm glad there was recycling so we didn't have to take it home with us. We also ate lunch on day 1 at the Brown Bag and brunch the next day at Monarch Brewing- both a short walk away. The only things that weren't perfect were that the house was chilly (and I couldn't find extra blankets or figure out how to adjust the thermostat) and the sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable. All the greats made up for those two small points. Thank you, Samantha! We hope to someday return to this gem. Such a great asset to your community!
