"This is a classic farmhouse property on a hillside close to St Jean en Vercor. The large terrace was wonderful for eating out al fresco with a stunning view of walnut orchards and distant mountains. The house is old with authentic French furnishing but mod cons. Will definitely return if we can."

"We really enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and there was plenty of room for the kids to play in the garden. The pool was great, with steps for our toddler. She also really enjoyed the French reading books! Also, the kids enjoyed darts, basketball and boules and the neighbouring horses and chickens. There were lots of outside seating areas. "We had a wonderful time with our family, with time and possibility for great skiing in Villard. In the afternoon we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the sun. The house is great, and we had a very warm welcome. Cooking a meal together every night, making a fire to roast some marshmellows, nice kitchen, and lovely fire in the living. "We stayed 1 night on a cycling trip down the Rhone. Found the hotel staff very hospitable and friendly. Access to secure garage for bike storage was simple. Rooms were fine and very comfortable, though perhaps slightly "tired", though that was not a problem for us. Breakfast was really good, with excellent variety of cereals, bread, eggs, cake and loads more. Location was very handy for the town with bars, restaurants all within easy walking distance.
